Butcher Block Steakhouse was just wonderful for a Saturday afternoon lunch. The ambience here was very calm and serene. The staff was very nice and our server Gabe, was great. We had a New Yorker (Pastrami) and a New York Strip Steak. Everything was great. The food was cooked to perfection!! I definitely will be coming back here! I highly recommend this place for lunch. The prices weren’t too bad either. The only thing that did bother me was the flies. We did have to move from by the windows where they were bad and landed on you constantly. But other than that, everything was excellent. Keep up the good work guys!!

My wife had a Greek salad with chicken and I had the 18 oz dry aged ribeye. Both were fantastic and our server was very kind and helpful. We will be back . Everything was cooked perfectly and our drinks were fair priced.

The Butcher Block is absolutely the best steakhouse in Cedar Rapids. My filet was cooked perfectly. We had a fantastic server who kept our glasses full but was not too overbearing. It was an overall great experience.

Tonight we went out for Mothers Day dinner. They were busy but offered the patio for seating. We had Onion Rings as the appetizer, extremely good and a good sized portion for two. My wife and I ordered the Delmonico rib eye and the steaks were cooked to perfection. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We will be back. Excellent venue.

We celebrated 2 birthdays here with family on a Sat night. The food was great and there was a nice selection for all. We had several children and there was a nice selection for them also. The fish and steaks both were delicious. I had the salmon and it was great! We were pleasantly surprised that they had wine specials on a Sat night! We got s bottle before 6 pm for less than the price of 2 glasses! Great deal! And the Cabernet was very good! We had s great night. We certainly will be back!
