Their mission was simple: create a fun and friendly atmosphere where the local community could enjoy huge portions of home-style cooking at a reasonable price. Food was good but exceptional. We got the BLT with sweet potato fries and the Big Bob’s Burger. The burger was huge! You can’t leave hungry if you order that. Service was good because we were seated quickly and regularly checked up on.

We come to this area once a year so we always stop in for food but this year it was horrible. The parking is easy since it’s in a large area by hotels and the water park. The service at this Black Bear was lacking. My husband went in and was told there was a wait which was fine so we sat down and another family of 6 came in and waited for a bit next to us. Well they seated the family of 6 and then asked us if we had been helped. The family of 6 looked stricken because they knew we had been there before them. I told them it was fine and the girl seating said,”oops I’ll get you guys a table right now!” Walking in there were quite a few dirty un-clean tables, but my kids always enjoy all the bear decor. At that time of night and our hotel next door we figured we’d have a go of it. We ordered breakfast food and she brought our drinks. I swiped creamer from another table because the waitress said we had enough and mind you there were 3 little creamers. Our food arrived and 2 out of 4 were cold. No one came

How many times does it take to get the correct order? I have ordered the Bearclaw without berries and each time they send the wrong one. Ordered them for my son and it never fails they are wrong. This is something that has been going on for a few years. I’ve ordered them in store to get home and it’s wrong. Ordered them through Door Dash, and same thing! The refund that was offered was ridiculous. Last week I paid 50 bucks for food that was not good. It was so cold and that was not due to the driver. Oh they forgot a drink as well. Don’t waste money here.
