Where do I begin? Atmosphere: 0 stars. Management: 0 stars. Service: 0 stars. Food: 2 stars. Arrived at 5 PM on Sunday. Sat down. No one brought us menus or silverware so after 15 mins I went and grabbed them from the bar. 20 mins in a kid comes to take our order. Forgot / never brought our drinks. 30 mins later he comes to take out order again because he forgot to put it in the first time. 60 mins in he finally remembered to bring us free bread. 90 mins in our food finally arrived. Chicken Chardonnay is so weird. Covered in canned cream of mushroom sauce. Pasta’s marinara sauce is LITERALLY canned tomato sauce from the store- not jars, CANNED. So gross. Pizza was okay, mixed reviews around the table. Penne alla vodka came with a mystery meat in it that nobody ordered and not even evenly tossed- sauce was only on half the plate. Pathetic all around. Where is management? No manager here this evening. Why are they so pitifully staffed? We will never be returning to this establishment.

This place is amazing. The best pizza and Italian food this side of the Mason-Dixon. Exactly like I remember it from back on Long Island! Great food. Great beer and drinks. Great atmosphere whether you’re at the bar or in the restaurant!

Best hidden gem in Mooresville. The food is authentic and delicious. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The owners, Steven and Megan, some of the nicest and most caring people you’d ever meet. Whenever we have company come in from out of town, we always take them to Rocco’s. They never disappoint and our guests always ask to go back. If you haven’t been to Rocco’s yet, you’re truly missing out.

So, yes, the pizza is pretty good if your in the mood for New York style. The menu has a lot of options. The atmosphere could use some work. I just don’t like when pizza joints pile empty pizza boxes in every square foot of the place. I get it, it takes 10 seconds to put a box together, but when it just looks like clutter, now that’s a problem. If your ordering takeout you won’t be disappointed.

Really liked Tommy’s (old owner) grandma pie and Sicilian pies . Ordered both plus what they call Rocco’s Bread which got thrown away . The pizza boxes are much smaller and the pizza inside was just plain bad …The sauce tasted like a canned sweet sauce and the Sicilian hardly had cheese where Sebastianos was larger and way more cheese with sauce that didn’t taste like Ragu. Shame because the problem with the old place was service food was always good now the food is subpar ..

Been going to Sebastianos for years and Rocco’s is an improvement on a good restaurant! Food is great, bartender is great, sports are always on and it’s a great time. Customers at the bar are also friendly and it’s a great vibe. They even have amazing desserts like cheesecake which is hard to find in this area.

I was the only customer in the restaurant waiting to pick up a pizza for 20 minutes which was 30 minutes longer than I was originally told. Finally was handed my pizza, opened the box and it was completely burnt. We’ve tried at least 5 times to eat here since new ownership and every time I have been disappointed.

My husband and I tried to go there for lunch a couple weeks ago. We arrived about 15 minutes after their opening time and the door was locked. A guy came out from the back, unlocked the door and said their cashier did not show up (unfortunately, he said this keeps happening) and no one knows how to operate the register. He hopes she will be there in about 30-40 minutes if we want to wait in our car. I thought he can’t be serious! We left and we will not be going back. What a way to run a restaurant or not run it.

We have been going to Sabastianos for 15 years and has been great, now the new ownership has taken over very disappointed. I have ordered the same 2 pizza pies and its been too thin and burnt since new owners have taken over.
