It’s was so disappointing, food area is so limited. I had a 4 year old that all in wanted was pizza, they don’t have pizza. It’s not on here menu. They hardly had dessert. I think that they had like some cookies and carrots cake. The food was kinda cold and old. And this one was on a Friday night. The general things like soy sauce and Sriracha where so dirty as if they don’t clean them daily. Very limited on the food. As like if you wantvthe full experience of a buffet this is not your place.

Bad first time experience. Right when I walked in it’s smelled like chemicals. Not much options and fruit was warm. People were nice tho! There was alot of homeless thinking they could get free food. I kinda feel bad for the workers because they working hard. And there was only 2 workers in there soooo yeah.

Maybe in the past this place was good, but we ate there today, and I must say it was awful. I have to give it one star. I tried several entrées on my first plate, and there was nothing good. It was a disaster. All the items were dried out and either overcooked or undercooked. We were ready to pack up and go somewhere else for lunch but stuck around to try additional items in search of at least one edible thing. We tried everything on the serving line and found that the sushi was the only item worth eating, and it was only average. I witnessed the staff working hard; nobody was loafing or goofing off. My complaint was all about the food. Sorry, China Lake Buffet, you are a big 零 .

I love this buffet. My family has been coming to this place for years. So it’s become a tradition to visit when we are in Ridgecrest with my Father. Delicious food and sweet people. Ticks all the boxes for me!

Stopped by here few days ago to have lunch and the waitress waiter are all so nice and done a great job on serving us. Their food are all so fresh and delicious especially the new thing on the bar which is this BBQ chicken. Sure will come back again soon!

this is the worst place you could ever possibly eat. for the price of 20$ you can treat yourself to the most rancid unenjoyable disgusting food ever. there was a smudge of food on the “clean” plates and there was little to no food that you could consume. not to mention that around the area was the smell of weed. i do not and i mean NOT recommend eating here.

I’ve been bringing my children to China lake buffet since they were very little. The food has always been cooked with love and care, and the owners are kind and enthusiastic about what they do. They know us all, and are extremely kind and welcoming to the children. If there was one reason to live in Ridgecrest I would say it was China lake buffet. I am absolutely spoiled by the food that they have and no other Chinese restaurant comes even close.
