My experience was very bad I tried to order a pork sandwich and the lady that was servicing me didn’t speak English so we had a little bit of trouble and then I got my sandwich and it was DRY no bbq no pickles no onions nothing who makes a plan pork sandwich? I don’t know what she was thinking and I don’t know what she was thinking but it was terrible never coming here again

Awful, absolutely worst brisket sandwiches anywhere. Burnt, greasy brisket probably sat on the grill for 20 minutes saturated in grease before served. All 4 sandwiches exactly the same. Couldn’t flood it with enough sauce to take away the greasy burnt brisket, almost ashtray taste. Shame on you Dickey’s Barbecue Pit! This was at 5p, prime dinner time on a Saturday.

Horrible Brisket seemed to be drowned in grease. No smoke taste at all. Had to drown in BBQ sauce to get a taste. I door dashed my order and am extremely disappointed with the food. I was also served “chicken slices”. Never seen this in life for a BBQ restaurant. Thanks but no thanks.

Too Technical
Should’ve listened to the reviews but figured I loved Dickey’s in Clear Lake so much, I’d try. Then I saw it was inside a travel stop and still figured the Dickey’s name wouldn’t be on bad food. Then I got three chopped brisket sandwiches. Burnt bread is not toasted bread and I didn’t know Dickey’s bbq could be dry. Do yourself a favor and go to Clear Lake’s Dickey’s. Best bbq for the money.

Had it delivered from door dash. It was on time and warm so that wasn’t the problem. To just be blunt, it sucked. Brisket was greasy. Pulled pork was on par with a Popeyes biscuit for dryness. Their Texas hot sauce is Frank’s red hot sauce with some pepper seeds in it. I took two bites out of the sandwich and tossed it. I have never had BBQ that bad. I’ve ate of BBQ from a lot of different regions of the US. Some people in St Louis told me Texas BBQ sucked. They must have been referencing this place. Would not eat again.
