So a while back, I saw a post about Wario’s and how good their sandwiches were. I started following them and asking foodie friends who live in Columbus about them and they simply stated, ‘you will not be disappointed.’ I tried to not hype it up but asked the lovely Mrs if we could drive up to Columbus for my birthday and go to Wario’s for lunch, then head over to Lions Cub for dessert. We ordered the Sunday Special Meatball and the House Spuds, along with a double wrapped Cold Cut to take home. Knowing the sandwiches are large with all the socials pics, the plan was to enjoy the hot Meatball sandwich and the Spuds on the patio at the store. Yes, it was chilly but the food was absolutely worth it. Oh my goodness, the meatball sub was amazing. Probably one the best meatball sandwiches I’ve ever had. The bread, the meatballs and the sauce are perfectly seasoned. The Spuds were incredibly tasty. The cold cut… was so, so good. The flavors are just so well thought out and proportions are spot on. Kudos to this small mom and pop shop for putting in so much effort to make such good sandwiches. Yeah, it’s a $pendy sandwich but it is massive. No clue where or who makes the bread for Wario’s but they know what they are doing as well. Yes, we will go back. Yes, I will tell my friends we need to start planning trips to Columbus to eat here. Maybe even go to a Blue Jackets game if Wario’s is open because they are right across the street from Nationwide. Support these small shops. Thank me later?

So good!!! One of the top 2 Philly cheese steaks I have ever had. (And I’ve been to Philly.) The staff was helpful, friendly, and able to fix an error I made. Highly recommend going out of your way to stop here. Worth the parking and price!!! 15/5!!

Anytime I see the ghetto grocery bag I know it’s about to Slap . I was disrespectful to that sandwich and I know my co-workers judged me while I ate. Delicious. I took points off because the guy disappeared after taking our orders and seemed a tad irritated when I came to ask a question

This place is the Mecca of sandwiches in Columbus. I’ve never had a bad experience here! The cheesesteak is by far the best in town. The specials are always off the chain. Sub is a little pricey but the portion size makes up for it.

First time trying Wario’s! We stopped here before a concert for a quick bite to eat. The menu is easy to follow and the choices have a decent variety. I ordered the Cold Cut and my husband ordered the Wario Steak sub. We waited maybe 10-15 for our food to be ready. The subs are massive. ‍ I couldn’t even eat half of mine in one sitting lol. The toppings were great on the Cold Cut and I liked the cheese. My husband loved his steak sub. I got to try my friend’s potato thingies and they were an interesting take on a potato option from a food place.

Best Sammies in the bus. Always greeted with the best service. I recommend the cheesesteak “Wario’s Way” and to dish out the extra dough to try the spuds!!! Quickly becoming a staple in the 614.

Warios is the real deal. Absolute perfection on such a simple sandwich. The melted cheese is perfect, the sauce is perfect, the steak is perfect, all topped off with perfect caramelized onions. The sandwich is perfect. People will say “overpriced” however this sandwich is packed with flavor and it’s very filling (enough for 2 small meals).
