As another reviewer stated, “try the pulled pork”. I’d love to but CHIP OFF THE BLOCK doesnt have hot sandwiches. Their google page and reviews are what brought me here. FYI: Hot food menu is for another location. That’s what I was told by the guy cleaning the slicer. How can you advertise something for your restaurant but not have any way to make the majority of the menu. The sign says SUBS, SMOKEHOUSE, AND GRILL. Only thing on that sign that’s true is subs (Cold cuts).

not sure why they are still showing up online at least the side that serves hot and fresh food . went on monday and the side that cooks food is closed and has been since covid started . so do not plan on going to eat there as they are closed on that side .

This place had amazing sandwiches and burgers. Unfortunately the last 4 times ive been there nobody is manning the counter… The 3 or 4 people at the butcher do their best to not make eye contact and ignore you. I was finally able to get somebody to tell me that it is closed… But there are no signs anywhere to indicate that. Is it permanently closed or what? Put up a sign!

I was skeptical at first as I thought it was going to be a little pricy for a sandwich between eight and twelve inches. I was wrong, they load so much meaty goodness on to very tasty bread and it was perfect. I actually split a sandwich with my wife both of us had not had anything to eat yet despite being up very early. Each half was able to fill us up. Highly recommend. When we go back again, which we will, I’ll try to upload a picture of the cross section.

Went there for the 1st time today at 6:15, the place was noticeably empty, I found out why very quickly. I had the Chip off the Block Gourmet Italian sandwich, It was pathetic. No Italian in their right mind uses mayo and thinly shredded lettuce on their cold cuts. The sandwich itself had very little taste and the bread wasn’t even as tasty as store bought white bread. My wife had the (inedible) Pulled Pork sandwich. It was full of grease, they claimed it was barbecue sauce, it was pure & simple grease. I don’t know how anyone could give this place a glowing review. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

Convenient location at Montecito Center on N Durango. This was the first visit for me and it was great. You can dine in or takeout. Hours 10:45 am – 10 pm Mon – Sun. The staff wearing ppe was very friendly and extremely helpful. You get to choose the selections displayed along the counter. I ordered the carnitas bowl with lots of veggies and salsa Verde. It was delicious!!! Definitely will try the other selections on my next visit. You can join their Chipotle Rewards to earn points towards free Chipotle.

Came for the first time today and tried “The Bird” and “The BBQ Pulled Pork” sandwich. Absolutely incredible!! The Bird was SPICY while right before diving into the BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich, the smokiness of the pork could be sensed before hitting your tongue. This is an absolutely revisit for us in the very near future. Also wanted to add the customer service was amazing too!!
