This is one of the better BBQ places I have been to. The menu is a little different as you buy the meat by the pound. I do like it because it gives you the amount that you want. I ordered the brisket, coleslaw, and cornbread. The brisket is not pre-sliced, and he cut it in front of us. The brisket had great flavor and was very tender. The staff was very friendly and I will definitely be coming back.

When a new BBQ place opens as close to our office as this, we have to stop by! We got a few of the loaded potatoes with brisket on top, and the nachos with sausage. We also snagged the mac and cheese and cornbread sides. Everything was amazing. The family was working the store themselves today, they were all friendly and great to chat with. One of the owners stuck around the lobby and personally greeted everybody that came in.

We’ve been to the Rigby location, and we are so glad they are here in Idaho Falls. My husband had the brisket and ribs with cornbread and beans while I had the pulled pork sandwich with slaw. Delicious. I use the mild sauce. They really pile the meat on the bun; you won’t go hungry. Price is comparable. Staff is really nice. We went in around 11:40 a.m., and it was packed by noon. They also will give you a military discount if you have your ID.

So delicious! Do not waste your time with any of the other BBQ places in town. Lil Mike’s is the best hands down! Fair pricing for amount and QUALITY of food served. Restaurant is sparkling clean. 10/10 would recommend. This is definitely one of our new go-to spots

The bar-b-que here is fantastic. They offer just about everything you could hope that a bbq place would offer. All the different cuts of meat – brisket, ribs, shredded pulled pork, sausage, chicken, etc… In addition, you can get nachos, cornbread, potatoes, beans, and coleslawI chose the big Mike sandwich which has brisket and sausage slices. Really good. Very juicy and full of flavor. They put this meat on a brioche bun. You can get coleslaw on the sandwich or on the side. It won’t matter what you choose to do. The slaw was even delicious!

My barbecue experience is heavily centered around R&R in Boise and my own families barbecue. My brisket was probably the driest brisket I’ve had, super lean and had a crockpot cooked texture to it, like I could pulled it in shreds, for $27/lb thats very disappointing. The macaroni and cheese needs more varying texture, it was pretty gloppy and the noodles were overcooked, but I could tell there was heart in it. The menu concept itself needs some general public simplification, a couple of plate specials that allows people to choose a couple things for a set price is easier to grasp than asking for 1/3 of meat and 6 oz of a side. All together it was $25 lunch including tip for just myself, and if I had known what I would get I wouldn’t have paid more than $10 for the same thing.

Good brisket! I had to pull off pieces of the paper because it falls apart and gets into the meat. They should consider an alternative.

Honestly very expensive for what it it is $10 for a brisket sandwich with no sides and 3 slices of meat with only 2 toppings of onion and pickles was mediocre. The cashier was not really friendly at all but the guy serving the food was very friendly. The music was really loud and it was hard to hear the person sitting across from me. Not as good as I wanted it to be. I would call if food truck BBQ but food truck BBQ is better.

Heard they were coming to town and wanted to try their BBQ. Ordered the loaded baked potato with brisket and a couple Big Mike’s. Wife gives 2 thumbs up on the baked potato. The big mikes were great. Brisket was pull apart tender and both the Brisket and sausage had great flavor. Will definitely give them my business.
