We ate there for the first time today. they do not have a large menu but the burgers we had were fantastic. The food was very good ,a little pricey but I guess all great food is now a days. My family had a great lunch. if you want a great burger and some Bourbon this is your place. the food will not let you down

Had burgers last Saturday. The food is really good. Even though our burgers were not cooked medium rare as we requested. Makes me wonder how much better they would have tasted cooked to our request. The cucumber salad was a little string to our liking. The service was really good! I will go back to provide another chance to improve.

I was so pleasantly surprised by our experience. The decor is dark and rich. The staff was so pleasant-welcoming us at the door and checking our table just enough. Brittany was our server. She is cute as a button, friendly and very service oriented. We all had different types of beer and burgers-all delicious! We had some funnel cake fries for dessert. They were warm, crunchy, sweet and delicious! I will definitely be visiting 1631 again and recommend it to friends.

Amazing place! The food was absolutely incredible! come here with an appetite because the servings were very generous. The best burgers I’ve had anywhere and the homemade chips are amazing. We had the cheese curds along with pork belly appetizers and I’ve been craving this place since we left. Definitely check them out you won’t be disappointed!

We were so impressed with our initial 1631 experience and know we will be regulars. Not only was it an amazing burger, the appetizers are a foodie experience in themselves. The darker lounge atmosphere and amazing staff really made it a great night out!

This is how you take a backyard staple and transform it into something stellar. An absolutely delightful lineup of great bourbon for any occasion and burgers that drip excellence all over your plate, all in a comfortably dim and private atmosphere. Have a stiff coffee afterward and digest your meal over a conversation! Can’t recommend it more for dates, business lunches, or a night out with a good friend. A super big thank you to Hanna, Alyssa, Chef Cerry, and Kylie for making lunch not just tasty, but warm, welcoming and friendly! Looking forward to coming back.

Impressive interior design. Great ceilings and use of dark woods! The service was excellent. Our server explained the menu and was very helpful and patient. The Espresso burger was amazing and house made chips were soo good, sliced thin but not over fried. finished everything off with the funnel cake fries which were surprisingly delightful; dense funnel cake in light portions for quick enjoyment while still hot, fantastic! Highly recommend, also thankful for it to be in Poquoson!
