Everything about this place is beautiful! We came in on a whim for cocktails at the bar- not expecting to be able to sit on a Friday night without reservations. We were greeted promptly and led to a table while we were told they could make space for our party of 3 to eat! Jaimie, the owner, was so personable, accommodating, and pleasant! We ordered cocktails and a variety of plates from the menu- everything was exceptionally plated and delicious. Being Filipino, I was hesitant about the concept of “elevated Filipino food” but they really hit the mark with their offerings. Renate the bartender was fantastic, prompt service and great conversationalist, the chef even came out to have a shot with us! Our entire experience exceeded any expectations we had! Will definitely be back, and definitely recommend.

This Filipino casual fine dining restaurant is amazing. The ambiance laid back and chic. I thought the design was thoughtful & quite intentional for the type of place this is. The service was excellent & the dishes were each described in detail and also how it fit into Filipino culture. They were all very knowledgeable & friendly. The bar was lively and the drinks were great. We ate the chefs tasting menu which was locally sourced seafood and veggie focused & really good. Apparently, the bar serves a completely different menu and it’s a la carte. I highly recommend this place

Wish there were 10 stars on google because that’s how good the food and service was here! Truly amazing. With a tasting menu sometimes there are dishes that are outstanding and some that are just good but maybe not your favorite. Well here literally every dish was a 10/10. I don’t think I have a favorite dish because I really can’t choose. It’s fine dining at its best! I also love that the atmosphere is so intimate and has a local feel. No doubt this place will be if not already ranked among the top Orlando restaurants.

Kaya is everything you hope for it to be. The team is as warm and welcoming as the eats. Every detail from color choices to plating and the family photos really puts you in a nostalgic place as you’re enjoying great food with good company.

Went here to celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere in Kaya’s restaurant makes it feel like you’re in someone’s home. The kitchen was out in the open. We can clearly see the chefs make our food. The walls were decorated by items originated in the Philippines such as the Pamaypay and the ceiling had little tokens of things Filipinos enjoy such as San Miguel Beer, Basketball, Bagoong and a lot more. They even had a Santo Nino near the front door. At the moment, I think Kaya has the best presentation of Philippine culture, not just through food, but also the interior design and atmosphere. It feels like they care about the community so they get a lot of their ingredients and products from local farms and shops. Our dessert even had ice cream from Sampaguita which is an ice cream shop that has Filipino inspired flavors. They also have guest chefs that hold mini pop ups outside Kaya. I don’t think I’ve ever seen that yet. And they also host other activities depending on the day of week such as karaoke night.

If you were just walking by, you’d think Kayla was someone’s house. The inside is cozy and you can tell they put a lot of thought into decor with many of them having traditional roots. We did the tasting menu for 95$, which consisted of 5 rounds (some rounds had multiple dishes). The rice and savory dishes course was my favorite!! Personally I think their drinks are a bit overpriced and too mild in flavor. I appreciated they had the option of still or sparkling water. The owner is extremely hospitable and comes around to each table to chat with you and get to know you. I’d recommend this place to anyone who wants a higher end Filipino experience! Def not your mom and pop store flavors

Best food I have ever had in my life! My boyfriend (who sticks to chicken tenders and fries) was so skeptical. He loved every single thing put in front of him, even flavors that were unfamiliar to him! The food felt like a hug, and each dish was so unique. Perfect portions and timing between each dish. You never felt too full for the next portion, and you end the meal feeling fully satisfied.

Unfortunately, I was a little disappointed by Kaya. We came here for their tasting menu, and while most of the dishes were unique and delicious, we had no idea what we ate most of the time. They didn’t provide a print out of the menu for the night, and the acoustics are horrible, so we couldn’t hear a single word of what the waitress was saying when she was explaining each course. In addition, we were seated next to 2 loud groups, which made it worse. At the end of the night, I was told I could get a written out menu of each course if I filled out the feedback form that is emailed, but nope. I haven’t gotten anything even when it’s been a couple weeks since I filled out the feedback form. Service was friendly, and prices are as expected for a tasting menu. I’d probably only come back for their bar menu.

Some of the dishes really stood out while others weren’t super great but they’re always changing up their menu so that’s awesome. I cannot get enough of the oxtail stew so i hope it’s staying forever. The tilefish in coconut milk and marinated steak was amazing as well. I didn’t love the mung bean noodles (it had a weird bitter/smokey taste) or the fried fish (boring, nothing special) and wouldn’t get them again. I enjoyed the ube flan dessert though it was a bit too sweet, and the silvana cookie was phenomenal. PLEASE try it you won’t be disappointed. Oh, and the cocktails were so yummy!
