Best tacos at the lake. I stop by weekly, if not a couple times a week. 100% recommend the food. The breakfast combo burrito is amazing, and The red salsa is some of the best I’ve had.

If you’re looking for the best place to have breakfast or lunch in the Canyon Lake area then Tacos Don Chente is your place. I was highly skeptical when I pulled up but decided to see it through. My taste buds celebrated when the Breakfast Burrito Special hit them. The food was hot and fresh. The red and green sauce absolutely amazing. The young man working behind the counter one of the friendliest and most helpful guys I have ever encountered. The way he helped a customer that showed up without their wallet was very impressive. Five stars isn’t enough for this place. I highly recommend and will be a returning customer next time I visit the area.

I went yesterday and had the street tacos.. AMAZING! The Asada was flavored amazing, the rice was perfect and the beans were delicious! I only ate half yesterday and warmed the other half today and it was just as amazing. I was pretty impressed. Definitely a great choice to order!! YUM!

My friends and I went here during a girls trip and heard it was the best in town. Well I have to say this was probably the best breakfast taco….no no…it was…IT WAS THE best breakfast taco I’ve had anywhere! I went a couple of months ago and can still taste the flavor and will continue to crave it until we go back. Please have their migas taco…you will NOT regret it. Wish I could have this nearby!!

Very big, very filling breakfast tacos. I think their red salsa might be a little salty. That or the bean and cheese I get is too salty. I tend to salsa it up before tasting it separately, so I can’t tell. Anyway just try the salsa before you add too much.
