Best spanakopita ever! Crispy layers of puff pastry over a creamy filling. Perfect small bite to begin. We ordered a beef and chicken kabob replacing the rice with vegetables. The vegetables were still fresh and firm but the outer layers are charred black. Such a great contrast. We finished with walnut baklava and Turkish coffee. The food was outstanding.

First time here. Friendly greeting as we arrived. Ordered the sampler appetizer. Very good. The dolmeh was really good as well as the spanakopita and falafel. The tabouli was really fresh and bright. I had the fessenjun, or also called chicken ala pomegranate. My nephew had the kubideh kabob and rice. Everything tasted good and had good portions. Will be back.

Be prepared for a traditional pace. The service is slow but not in a rude way. This restaurant practices a slow pace allowing guests to take their time without feeling rushed.

Update: been a few weeks and the team is still impressed and talking about this restaurant. Ready to go back. Orig review: Very kind staff, accommodating and helpful with choices. Appetite was big and we left full with boxes of food! First course followed by second and by the time we finished dinner the consensus rating was 10/10. Scrumptulescent! Barry McForkinnit was the guest of honor and no one was disappointed! Looking forward to the next time!

Good place, it took a while to get the food after we ordered, but the food was tasty.

We had a nice meal out with friends. Didn’t feel rushed and the food came out pretty quick. Everything was prepared well, but what was supposed to be spicy was only barely a medium. I get why restaurants won’t “kick it up”, but when we say we like heat, it’d be nice to get spicy…

The beauty of the lady upon entrance was captivating. She was very kind and that made me even more excited to eat. Baby! That food was awful. It was like an American cook trying and struggling to get the Mediterranean touch down on the food. Baby if it ain’t ya skill. It just ain’t ya skill. Nothing tasted Mediterranean (my opinion). The naan was even a strong no. Like for real. Naan. No thank you. The dish I had looked like frozen spinach with canned red kidney beans thrown in a cup. The rice was the worse basmati I have had. It appeared as though someone threw yellow food coloring on top. It was a not planning to return experience. Again saddened because the price I paid and I did not like any of the food. At all.

This is a very good place for Mediterranean food in the city. It’s an old place with average looks but it’s cozy. Being a vegetarian I ordered the falafel salad and it’s really good. It came with yogurt and cucumber side along with hummus and they are good too. I also had the vegetarian kabobs and I felt that they are over grilled and were ok.

We were looking for a great salad on a hectic day and decided to try this. Just what we needed to escape an overcrowded holiday shopping experience. I ordered a Greek Salad and added grilled salmon. I am amazed that they can add that many onions and it still tastes great! Nothing bitter at all. How do they do that? The salmon was done correctly. I usually like crumbled feta instead of chunks, and a little stronger olives. The lettuce was very lightly wilted. Overall, I was happy with everything. Spouse thought his Spicy Chicken Toss was all very authentic. Like a spicy tomatoe sauce stew. Spices were somewhat neutral, but well balanced. No one spice stood out to overpower it. Good visit. Would go back there.
