If you’re trying to have a normal conversation, forget it. The place is so loud you end up screaming and walking out with a sore throat. The service is underwhelming at best, even the server was screaming the menu at us to overbear the surrounding noise. The food was highly overpriced and deeply underwhelming. I doubt this could be called true Italian fare, it’s insulting to the cuisine.

I’m from Staten Island so I’ve been to many Italian restaurants, this was by far the best. Firstly, the waiter—I believe his name was Bruno—was the best you can get out of a waiter. Fun, personable, and quick. Probably the best service we received in a while. The food was excellent. I ordered the Sea Bass and it almost melted in your mouth. It was cooked to perfection. Another member of my party ordered the Porter House, which was also cooked very well. The appetizers were delicious. I highly recommend the crab meat and octopus. All of the sides were great such as the black rice. I totally loved everything about this place including the environment, which was perfectly lit. I totally expect to come back soon with family and friends. I’m also looking forward to ordering the Tomahawk next time. Thank you all!

One of my favorite places to frequent. While I often sit at the bar, I have also enjoyed the dining room – both having been equally enjoyable experiences. From the moment the hostess greets you upon entry, to the moment you walk out the door, Osteria treats their customers like family. The staff is lovely, they have a wonderful cocktail/wine selection, the food is unmatchable and the owners are hands on. Overall, highly recommend.

Been in Marlboro for 12 yrs and never got a chance to eat here. Finally tried it for date night. We went there at 8pm on a Saturday and place was packed. Water and bread came in promptly, the garlic oil n crispy zucchini was good. We skipped the drinks and order the octopus, garganelli, fuoco pizza w/ sausage n bronzini.

I had a nice group dinner here with some excellent, real Italian food. We had the stuffed pepper special which was good and the lobster gnocchi special which was just about perfect. I had the ravioli and they were amazing, but couldn’t tell if it was served with real guanciale or just thick bacon. Either way it was very good.

The restaurant has the ambiance and the decor of a beautiful place for anyone to come & enjoy a great meal! My dinner was delicious! Damien was very accommodating to all of our dinner request… Although we were from out town and certainly not dressed according to what the expectation of the restaurant, it should NEVER be noted by the staff specifically the front hostess that unfortunately failed to have a poker face since we arrived in t-shirt’s & shorts from the shore area…She was a bit young & judgmental and could certainly use some guidance with her initial reaction…I don’t know if her reaction would have been the same if she saw the 2021 Land Rover that we arrived in… one should NEVER JUDGE A BOOK BY IT’S COVER… thank goodness the food was delicious

Disappointing- I almost never give 1 star. They brought out my steak and her Bronzino with our apps. We got dinner and apps at same time- of course this is their mistake. Instead of remake it the right way, they put a sliced rare $75 steak under a heat lamp for 45 mins. When ready for dinner Plates were red hot but her Bronzino dead cold inside and my steak chewy. Sides cold. Waiter (Vick) lied to face tried to tell us otherwise before admitting but it was just too late at that point… So we force down some of the stale food. Drank more wine. Tipped well, left quietly, and will never go back.

went last night w/in laws. Waiter was the hovering type – we all ordered the specials. 2 fish dishes, 1 shrimp, and pasta. Pasta was gummy. Fish overcooked.Dessert was coconut cake – which was wet and mushy.

Everything about this place is top notch. From professional servers and super accommodating owners and management — to some of the most delicious food my girlfriend and I have had out, this place is def a must try if you haven’t been. Would give it 100 stars if i could! Can’t wait til they have the patio open in the summer!
