Best, most fun bar in town! Younger crowd, and Saturday karaoke is crazy awesome! Basic bar food….I recommend the fried zucchini. Great staff! The door girl was supremely welcoming and fun.

Great bar! It was our first time visiting Lava Hot Springs and the bartender that night gave us some inside tips on what to do and see. They have a full menu of food and drinks. But of course we just ordered ourselves 2 Blue Moon Beers.

Great atmosphere and awesome bartenders! Came here for a breakfast buffet and mimosas. Loved everything about it. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Lava. This also isn’t a Utah bar, ie they pour their drinks strong, just like I like it.

The moon hosted our rehearsal dinner when we got married in Lava in September. Gale was incredible to work with and the staff and food was great. Gale even surprised us with live music for the event. Would highly recommend the Red Room at the Blue Moon for private events.

We were in Lava Hot Springs for a Valentine getaway, and checked out places to eat online, and we both liked the menu selections, especially the chicken gizzard appetizer, which, unfortunately they were out of. Anyway, it may not be much to look at on the outside, but inside was an older bar atmosphere complete with pool table and dart boards; reminded us of places we like to go to, places that cater to locals, but welcome out-of-towners, and that was exactly the experience we had. Friendly staff as well as the few locals that were there, but the best part were the tasty burgers we ate, good enough that we told our waitress to thank the chef for us… they were delicious! Their menu was probably limited for the winter, as there weren’t as many options to choose from as on their online menu. They also have a separate large dining room (we sat in the bar area) which I’m sure is packed during televised sporting events and in the summer tourist season. Highly recommend if you like good food, an older bar atmosphere, and friendly company.

We stopped here for a few drinks while we are in town. Steven, the bartender, was very personable and fun. The locals we met were all really cool and we had a really great time. This place has darts, pool and some video type games. The bathrooms were super clean, too. It also meant a lot to us that they had a tribute table set up to honor the 13 recently lost Marines. We will definitely return next time we are in the area.

This place is so rad. You know when you find a bar and it just feels like a place you’ve been before, that you know you could have a fantastic evening there if that one band from that one time would play here, but you also know that the beauty of a bar like this is the random and new exciting experiences you could have there that you don’t even know about yet but are about to discover, one person at a time? That’s this bar. Blue Moon was a random drop in for us on a super cold night in Lava and oh man was it the place we were looking for. I wish we hadn’t eaten before finding it! Fantastic service from great, nice, well-kempt and mustachio’d cordial bartender. Delightful and succulent drinks. Clean, inspiring, fantastic. Wonderful! Can’t wait to go again.

Great place for dinner and drinks on a Sunday night! A little pricier than I’d like – $50 after tip for 2 drinks, a burger, and chicken strips – but I suppose that’s really not that bad.
