We stopped here as we were passing through town. The waitress was so friendly and made great recommendations. We had our three young grandchildren with us they each had the kids tender plate. The tenders looked hand-breaded. The cowboy burger was delicious. Everything seemed fresh and homemade. We would definitely stop again if we were passing through.

We loved the old HFR (Hayesville family restaurant) and were sad when they closed and thought they were gone forever. Well boy were we wrong. A few years later we found them at a new location with a new name. Same great food and owners. Where else in western Carolina can you get a breakfast burrito….Probably one of our favorite items as well as the chorizo omelette.

This is an excellent place to eat. Lovely people and great food. If you are looking for a place where the servers do wear masks, this is it. If you like fried catfish they have it and it is fantastic. Try the onion rings with it. They are not all breading with a shriveled up piece of onion in them like most places. Juicy and delicious.

Whether you get breakfast or lunch here, you’ll have a good meal at the best price. Also, they make a fruit drink sometimes that’s very fresh and natural. Some stuff that isn’t listed on the menu they can still make for you if you know what you want. I really like the chicken quesadilla and just recently tried the roast beef po-boy which was good enough to get again.
