I went with My Friends to try the food, and it was more than what I expected. I got the molcajete tha comes with chiken and steak, it was amaizing, the meat was tender and flavorfull, the amount of food that comes in every plate can easelly feed 2 people, to acompany My food I got a spicy cucumber margarita and it was delicius got a fresh flavor and the right amount of tequila in it, i’ll defenitly go back there to try more of the Big menu that they have. I tottally recomend going there if You want to try some good mexican food.

Azul on James Island is consistently on point. The service is fast and friendly. We have never gotten anything that we have not throughly enjoyed. This trip my wife and I got the same combo which was the beef burrito & chicken quesadilla with rice and beans. It was very reasonably priced and neither of us could finish our plates. Azul is on our regular rotation.

Went to Azul last evening and it was delicious. I had the veggie quesadilla. Tasted fresh and the tortilla had a grilled flavor. Kind of looked like a calzone! The complimentary chips and salsa were delicious too. The service is wonderful. I wish I could remember our waitress’s name but she was super sweet and very good! I can’t wait to return!

Came here last night for dinner. Started off with chips and salsa with a side queso. The queso tasted amazing but could have been thicker. It was a little too runny and tan off the chips. I ended up getting the quesadilla fajita and it tasted amazing. My only complaint was it was so wet it soaked through the tortilla and was not a hand held entree at that point.

I would give this restaurant 10 stars if I could. Absolutely phenomenal. We got the nachos mexicano as an app and it was SO good. We also both got the enchiladas rancheras and again, outstanding. We had our 4 year old with us and they had a great variety of kids options. Sit outside if you can – great patio!

I can’t say enough good things about this place but they definitely hit all my important points for a Mexican restaurant. Good salsa, tender/flavorful meats, and reasonably priced. The service was great and the margaritas were delicious. They also had a very extensive tequila selection!
