It’s probably one of the best Cajun seafood I’ve had! Right amount of seasoning, get food, some extra items to make your eating experience convenient. Check out the pics. It’s definitely worth it. I’m here for 5 nights and will come again on my last night!

Some of the best food we had on the trip! Unfortunately the service was quite bad. We spoke to the hostess who sat us at a table outside overlooking the nearby parking lot. At least four or five servers walked by our table over the next 25 minutes and no one even managed to greet us, or take our drink orders or bring menus. I understand things happen but it wasn’t even a very busy night at the restaurant. We eventually spoke to a manager who sent over a server but she only took my wife’s order and not the rest of the table, very strange. Eventually we did get all our orders in and our food did come out and it was fantastic! Flavorful and unique spin on low country boil. Prices weren’t bad either for how much food we recieved. If this place can fix it’s service, it will be an easy recommendation!

We arrived just before the evening rush. Opted to eat indoors because well.. mosquitoes. The dining area was comfortable, clean and modern. There is an outdoor patio area that is shared between 4 eateries.

Great seafood this is second time we been here The atmosphere at this Hook and Reel is so nice and you get greeted The dining area is very clean and has a cool decor. You can tell the owner put a lot of love into this restaurant. Our hungry group didn’t have to wait long for the food to arrive. The seafood was cooked just right. We had the hook and reel and lemon pepper sauce. I LOVED it. It was not too light or salty, it was just right.

The food is amazing. Certified food critique here! Super satisfied with the time and effort put into the food! Ive tried boils from California to South Carolina and this is by far the best. I got No head shrimp and sausage garlic butter mixed with lemon pepper spicy. #1st place nomination.

Very good, I shared a meal (snow crab, crawfish, mussels and shrimp) with my niece and we both loved it. My only complaint is that I couldn’t get my half the style I wanted versus what my niece wanted but not a big deal I ended up letting her decide the style. We were a party of 7 and we were sat immediately and our server was totally amazing and dealt with my husbands family gracefully

Visited from NC and our service and food was absolutely horrible. After finding a clean seat from many dirty ones . We were greeted in a timely manner however it took 30 minutes for us to get drinks , our server had little to no knowledge about the menu so she couldn’t really answer any questions that we had , after getting an appetizer it took her an hour to come around and get our order , after the battle with termites at hook and reel we decided to get our order in a to go box to eat at home which took another hour for her to request that the food be put into boxes , after getting home we soon realized the food was not edible as we were served half cooked food and greasy fries . 10/10 would not recommend if I could give 0 stars I would . SN it was not busy the day that we visited there was maybe 4-5 tables that all had different servers .
