I ordered macaroni a side brisket combo sandwich I put macaroni in my sandwich got pickles onions and spicy barbecue sauce you can taste the small char areas of the meat gives it a smoked flavor mixed with all the ingredients combined you get a mouthfuls of flavors first time trying and I loved it the flavor of the brisket with the bbq delicious

Oh my goodness this place is the so very much a dose of home style cooking and stuff for me that it brings the country out in my accent just a smidge extra for like a whole 24 hours after I’ve been here. They don’t have sweet tea or fried green tomatoes mind you but what they do have they make great. I get the pulled pork and brisket plate but then taste my friends kielbasa and chicken and baked beans and Mac n cheese and it’s yummy for sure but not equally as good as my brisket and pork, and then let me tell you about my 2 sides… So far I get them to be the same 1 thing- FRIED OKRA!!! I DECLARE THAT STUFF EVEN WHEN ITS SO FRESH AND HOT IM GETTING SERIOUS BURNS IN MY MOUTH FROM IT IS EQUAL TO GOING TO THE LAKE AND BBQ AND ALL THE SIDES ON ANY ONE OF MANY HOLIDAYS BACK HOME FOR ME. Talk about true comfort food. ANYWAYS…. It doesn’t look like it’s so large you could possibly have some for a little taste later, but I do. Not a big taste though. ITS SO GOOD! And they top those “combo plates” off with a yeast roll . Good finisher for sure.

Happened to stop in this little area on our way to the bookstore. Smelled it and immediately had to get Dickey’s. Food was even better than it smelled. This is barbecue done right and quick. Brisket and pulled pork were divine. Very good sized portions for price. No photos because food was INHALED.

Girl who worked the register at 8:30pm on November 1st is hella unfriendly. It was like talking to a frowning wall. She negatively impacted my group but the food was decent. Sauce was on point. Sides were surprisingly small, especially for the price. I think some customer service training would elevate this place to 4 stars.

My order was completely wrong I got mash potatoes rather than potato salad I got 2 orders of pulled pork rather than the ribs and absolutely no bbq sauce on the pulled pork or side, there obviously needs to be some more training done with getting the orders correct or hire competent staff that can take and make orders correctly, the service Cam provided definitely was great, and what saved me from not demanding a full refund being I paid $51.98 for a completely different or wrong order, but to put no sauce of any kind on or on the side just added the cherry to the fact that this location needs to do better. I like the food it taste great, but I’m definitely not happy with the multiple mistakes in my order which I went over with Cam 2x before I hung up. Please do some more training on getting orders made correctly.
