Several things listed on the website are not available at this location. The soda machine was putting out seltzer for at least one soda as the machine was out of syrup. It is hard to hear the cashier through the large plexiglass sheet leftover from Covid.

I ordered the fish meal with hush puppies and drink, including a side of coleslaw. It was hot and fresh. The coleslaw was good. My husband wanted a cod sandwich, but they were out of cod. He ordered a fish sandwich, but he had to add more tartar sauce. The server was patient and got my order right. He was not bubbly, maybe tired, but he was pleasant.

The food was made correctly and to standard. My issue is the amount of grease and flour used. I’m not a health nut, matter of fact I crave unhealthy food, but this was just too much. You’re better off going to a mom and pop fish place if you’re looking for half way quality fish.

When people say whose keeping this LJS in business, I’d proudly say me! But after my experience tonight, nah. I’m not sure how y’all stay open. I pre-ordered through the mobile app, the line took forever, probably 40 minutes after i placed the order, I got to the window and was told my food still wasn’t ready? And when I get my food finally, it still wasn’t correct. Do better.

Manager was rude. Building and grounds in much need of renovations. Asked for extra chips (crunchies) got maybe a handful. Wouldn’t honor coupons from phone. Said they had to be printed out.
