When I saw that after 200 people submitted reviews in this place still had a four. Nine average, I knew it had to be legit. I had never eaten English style, fish, and chips with vinegar and salt. I have seen the light! The cod was high-quality and the breading was perfectly crisp and had good flavor. I also got some of their homemade tartar sauce. Unequivocally, that is the best tartar sauce I’ve ever eaten. I could drink that stuff! This will be another stop I make every time I am driving through Flagstaff. I also want to mention that one of the employees, Eric, has some of the best customer service I’ve ever seen. Greets you with a smile, has great recommendations, and is very patient when you’re asking questions about the different menu items. He went above and beyond to accommodate me, having forgotten my wallet and needing to navigate Google Pay, which I had never used before. An absolute nightmare, but the dude helped me out considerably. I hope the managers see this and give that young man a raise.

The food is so good! Not really much for seating, so be prepared to take it home. The fish was super fresh and delicious, as were the fries. Tried all the dipping sauces, and a Scotch Egg (which was huge and the homemade sausage is bomb).

A really small place so it’s pretty much carry out. Cod was a nice large piece, cooked fresh. The chips are an interestingly thick size. Will definitely be back to try some other menu items.

Fully deserving of its 4.9 star review average. Cod and chips plus a steak and ale hand pie hit the spot after an active morning. Gosh was so crispy and delicious and the tartar sauce was the best I’ve had handily. Hand pie is something I’d easily eat weekly. Can’t wait to come back

I ordered the cod, as it was recommended for the fried plate. The mahi mahi was recommended if you prefer it grilled. The fish was moist and crispy. The tartar sauce and dragon sauce were delicious. It was a super quaint location, and there isn’t much seating available but that shouldn’t deter you from experiencing this food. If you like good fish, you won’t regret it.

The food was delicious! We got cod and chips, a scotch egg, a sausage roll, and mushy peas. The service here is absolutely phenomenal!! We were planning to take away our meal to a brewery a few blocks away and when we sat down we realized we left with only half of our meal! About 15 minutes later, a young gentleman from the restaurant came and brought us the rest of our food!! This act of kindness was truly a testament to their customer service.
