Get ready for a burst of flavor!! The Hulk bowl was so delicious. This was my first time visiting but it won’t be my last. I didn’t know what to expect but I like that there were so many options. The line was long but the cashier was so sweet and she answered every question I had patiently, she gave me some suggestions, and even described different options with a smile.

I came in after a workout to get a protein bowl. The Powerhouse bowl was phenomenal! Peanut butter, Nutella and fruit was the highlight. The staff was friendly, the store clean and lots of seating. I will be frequenting on my visits to Birmingham!

Great online service. We tried the Hawaiian and The Vulcan minus raspberries but added bananas. The acai base was good and maintained a sorbet texture. This location offers 3 sizes, 8 oz, 12 oz and 16 oz. We appreciated the ability to order online and pick up. There was a minimal wait time. The bonus was the friendly staff.

The fruit was extremely fresh, so fresh I had to look up at the sky, and just say WOW, then the sun starting shining on me as I took my first bite. Overall the bowl was good, could be a 4 star rating, but that Apple Juice mixed with the açaí was not it.

Love this place! They have a great selection of pre selected açaí bowls which is great for the people who aren’t sure what would taste great together. They are also one of the only açaí locations around I have found that offers an 8oz portion. That size is perfect for me! The only thing that I think could use improvement is the wait time. I typically wait for at least ten minutes.

We had a TERRIBLE experience the last time we were there! They messed up one of our bowls. They told us that they will make another one but then they made for all the others who came after us! leaving us waiting for a very long time. When we asked again, the response was that it was going to be ‘a while’. They were like robots just going through the system; not knowing to pause and make our order which they had messed up first before others. When you messed up an order, the correction should be ASAP before any other new orders that came in after! What moronic manner in handling business! No decency, no common sense! The people who work there never gave a warm welcoming feeling but we like the bowls so we overlooked that and we go there. We won’t be after this last time unless a manager or owner cares enough to reach out to me to rectify the issue. There will not be a business when more people stop going after experiencing intolerable behavior and being treated badly.

We showed up about 25 minutes before closing time and apologized to the workers because we felt they might be cleaning up and we would interfere with those closing tasks. We were greeted warmly and they welcomed our business. They chatted with us, offered us a sample of a different protein base we had not tried, and made our bowls quickly. City Bowls bowls are SO good, and we have had these type of bowls in other states too. City Bowls is the best all around and their shop is so clean! Love it!
