I came to Google to write a review and was in disbelief at how many 1 stars this place had. I’m new to the Charlotte area and have been looking for a good Chinese spot, I’ve ordered here twice so far & the food was amazing each time. The workers are polite & efficient.

I am very surprised at the one stars. I’ve only found one good Chinese restaurant in Charlotte since moving here in 2018 but now it’s almost 30 minutes away. Looking at the pictures I can tell they have some good food and I ordered the chicken wings last night and they were delicious. Reminds me of chicken wings you get up north in New Jersey because of that alone, I will be ordering from this place again. If you’re from up north New York, New Jersey area, you know what I’m talking about. The guy was kind to me who took my order and when I picked up my food, my chicken wings were hot and they were delicious. I ate everything at once and that’s a lot to say. When Chinese places don’t have good chicken wings and I might be able to eat two and the leftovers will sit in the refrigerator until I throw them out. lol this place I smashed those chicken wings in about 20 minutes.

Chopsticks has gotten a bad rep with all the negative reviews but I’m so glad I gave this place a chance. I’ve ordered from here several times now and the food has not disappointed me yet. The owner is very friendly and I’ve never had an issue with the service here. Hands down my favorite Chinese spot in the area. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend!

I’m glad I did not let the negative reviews stop me from ordering, because I would have never enjoyed such a wonderful lunch with my family. Lomein(pork) was excellent. Bok choy wasn’t cut huge chunks leaving you search for the pork. All of the veggies and meat all cut uniform size and not soaking in liquid. We also had general tso’s, excellent. Just enough heat. Seseme chicken off the chain. The rice and egg rolls that come with the lunch combo’s btw all are currently priced at 7.95. Well worth the $. The crab Rangoon, the best in town. The filling was perfectly sweetened not to sweet and not to much moisture either. I had no problem ordering, speaking with the man and the lady, no yelling or throwing things like I read in other reviews. If that did happen, it shouldn’t have but it most definitely should not reflect this restaurants food. Sometimes working with family is difficult and stressful. Language barriers can also create agitation between customers and employees. Please try them out. You won’t be disappointed. I waited 15 min and heard no shouting. I was greeted kindly, felt welcome, asked a few ?, Was answered kindly, food was hot fresh and delicious. 5 stars all across. O, and btw, don’t forget the amazing sweet bread, aka Chinese sugared donuts. Absolutely the BEST.

Usually a 10 minute wait for your food so if you dont want to wait call ahead. They usually have plenty of menus that you can take home with you at the only counter in there. I really like their Egg Foo Young, boneless spareribs, and wings. I don’t like peas and carrots in my fried rice so I don’t like their fried rice. Its a small carry out with only 1 table inside. Customer service is ok.

Listen, I completely agree with everyone’s comment about the lady who works behind the register. She can be rude and yes, customer service is everything when you spend money that you work for. I get it. Ive turned down businesses in the past. However, I can not find another chinese spot that serves these chicken wings. These guys have the same chicken connect as the ones in NJ/NY. When that hot sauce touches the chicken, and you bite in the wings, the ladies attitude vanishes. Pork lo mein and pork egg foo young are delicious as well. Pictured here is the chicken wings w/pork fried rice which runs around $8.

I’ve been patronizing this place for quite some time now. I have to say yes the young lady is rude in person and on the phone rude. I stopped coming here for a year decided to go back to see if anything changed customer service still sucks big time with the young lady. the food however still good.

The low main was ok the need to improve on the noodles brand. Upset with the price, way too high for Chinese takeout. I paid $10 for sesame chicken (best of the two) and $8 chicken lo main.

Customer Service is terrible. The lady seems to have an attitude all the times I been in there. Won’t get my money no more. To be real. I really think they have an issue with blacks. I seen the same attitudes with others. I was a repeat customer too.
