WOW!!!! Ordered for the first time and I’m disappointed in Myself for NOT trying the Groovy Beast before!! We have been missing out on some Yummy food!! Ordered double cheeseburger baskets, pancakes, French toast and chili cheese fries. EVERYTHING I mean everything was really good! The burger was fresh and perfectly seasoned. French toast had a moist custard flavor to it. We will definitely be repeat customers!

Absolutely delicious , served hot and fresh ! We got the patty melt and fries. My daughter got the hot dog basket with fresh fruit. It’s a nice restaurant, don’t overlook it just because it’s attached to the gas station. It’s two totally different businesses. The people are nice, welcoming even if your black.

How have I not gone to this place before? The food here is amazing! What a unique dive Eatery. When I first found this place I wasn’t expecting it to be in the same parking lot as a gas station and convenience store but when I went inside and saw the menu I knew this place was going to be a hit. I had the burger and wow was it delicious. As a side I also had the deep fried mushrooms and these were phenomenal as well. They did have a little kick to them but nothing that deviated from the actual Taste of the mushroom itself.

Came down to celebrate National Hot Dog Day at The Groovy Beast and got a 2 hot dog basket. Absolutely amazing Carolina dogs. Fries are amazing. They say you pay for what you get, and I’ll gladly drop a couple extra bucks for food at this level.

Hidden gem in Gastonia. We were a little nervous about the quality since it’s connected to a gas station and yet we were pleasantly surprised when we got inside. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful as it took us a few minutes to select our meal. Their breakfast and lunch menu all looked so good!! They were packed so you knew it had to be a great place. I would definitely go back if I’m ever in the area.

The food here was so good! I had the pork skewer daily special and it was really good except a bit too fatty for my taste. The rice was really good and the BBQ sauce was amazing. Others at the table had chicken tenders and onion petals, both excellent, and the buffalo chicken salad. It was so huge! Great for salad lovers. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. The restroom was clean but the floor in the dining room was a little sticky.
