Mr. Taco shares space with a gas station convenience store – so that may initially put you off a bit. But looks can be deceiving and this is by far my favorite of the many local taco spots that seem to be springing up.

I’ve been going here probably once a week for the past 4 months. This place is connected to a gas station, but don’t let that fool you. Everything is bomb af! My favorite is their Special Torta. Even my picky 11 year old LOVES the Torta! Breakfast burritos are good, love that they put frijoles in them! Tacos are bomb af too! If you go on Tuesday the Tacos are a little bit cheaper. I read other reviews of people complaining about the nachos. I’ve had the nachos too and they’re good, but let’s be real….if you get nachos to go they’re gonna get soggy. It’s just the way it goes ♀️ Highly recommend this place and I think it’s family owned? Either way, definitely worth the try.

Absolutely love this place. But gotta say this last time was not up to the standards they normally set. I ordered basic asada tacos with everything. Well sadly when I got home realized they didn’t put on an cilantro or onions. Asada was still delicious just wasn’t enough and couldn’t eat more then 2 bites before giving up. Now I would of just went back in but it was almost 8pm so they were about to close. But now I’m going to have to double check before leaving.

Simple tacos, done simply well. This place might be deceiving but Mr. Taco makes some great tacos. Their tacos are done right with just onions, cilantro, choice of meat, and numerous tasty salsas. Everything was fresh and delicious, the meat was tender and moist, seasoned just right. Our food came out fast, for a good price and everyone, including the cook in the back, were all friendly and welcoming. A new favorite and go-to place. Aug 2022

Truly authentic Mexican favorites. Moved here from a south TX border town and it’s just like home cooking. The menu isn’t extensive and doesn’t need to be. You can’t go wrong with any plate. Located inside the 1stop gas station with a little indoor eating area and a nice outdoor patio. They also take phone orders or take your food to go. Taco Tuesday specials and open for breakfast too.

Tried Mr Taco for the first time today… And a second time too! All told, I placed 3 orders and are 7 tacos! They are out of this world. If I could give them 10 out of 5 stars I totally would! Yeah, it’s in a gas station but make no mistake. They are the best tacos I’ve ever had and my wife loved them too.

Never before has a smell made me want to order something from a restaurant in a gas station, but this place should be a stand alone restaurant. I walked in and was instantly reminded of my neighbors house as a kid. I had to order an asada burrito and oh my goodness was I not disappointed! Great flavor that I’ll try smothered next time… or maybe the tacos. Now I’m hungry again.
