Alert! This will be my LAST time going to this place to buy roasted meat. I have never run into such problem before. I brought 2 lbs of roasted pork here in the morning approximately 11:30am went home right after and have the first bite it was sour and the meat texture was sticky/ slimy. The smell was awarful too, like the meat was old. I called the resturant and letting them know about the problem, the person on the phone said “bring it we will exchange it” then he hang up.( I live 30 mins away!) so I have to drive back to the resturant and the 2 people that was there giving me attitude and couldn’t even let me talk. So I told him I don’t want to exchange I just want my money back, and the other guy shows anger and started to point ( digust gusture). I paid them $25 and they only given me back $18 like what????? When I confront him about it he said idk. No alpologize no nothing. I wish they could have handle the situation better.

I love First Chinese BBQ and you will too!! Their Peking duck is amazing, and I usually get a side of their vegetables, but they have a full Chinese menu. Great place to get Chinese style pork by the pound as well. I highly recommend this place, but remember to take cash only.

I have been going to this place for years since it opened and have always known that the food is good and authentic. I have also known the service lacks a lot but the past two visits have been ridiculous! I accidentally spilled my drink and helped her clean it up because I felt guilty. She then doesn’t offer me a new one and disappears for 30 minutes. Almost finished with our food I see her and ask her for a replacement and she has an attitude with me. We paid the bill and gave her very little tip (but still left her one) and she embarresses me as I’m trying to walk out the door by saying “stop this tip is NOT enough” and runs to block the door as if I’m stealing from her. I explained why I tipped her very little and she was still yelling, so I left. I hadn’t come back in over a year and today I walked in decided to give her another chance. I ordered and paid but she had an attitude the whole time because she recognized me (since I used to visit once a week). I take out cash to pay only for meal because she brought bill super early. I figured I would tip her when I finish. WRONG! She brought back the tray and put it on the table and stood there until I tipped her not even allowing me to finish my meal in peace. Are you kidding me? Never again will I return!!!

The lady up in the cashier was yelling at us and cursing us out in chinese. The man cutting the meat was talking bad about us in chinese. The people here gossip about my family. They talked to us in chinese but expected us to know it. My family is Vietnamese not chinese. They kept misunderstanding us because they couldn’t understand english and then blamed it on us. We asked for 3 ducks and they gave us 2 ducks, and charged us for 3 ducks. They stole our money. I highly recommend not coming here if you don’t want to get talked bad about. I also don’t recommend it if you don’t want to be charged 30 extra dollars on a duck you didn’t even get. My friend took chinese class in high school so she knew somewhat of what they were saying about us. The duck was also very red and bloody near the bone. The pig was cooked unevenly and some places of it were red and raw while some places were black and burnt. The place was very dirty and I saw flies flying around the pig meat when i entered the place. There were cobwebs at the corners of the restaurant. The workers also talked unnecessarily loud which scared us alittle bit. My family will not be coming here again.

MIL brought wonton to go from this place and all of the wontons were slimy and had a weird texture. I actually got sick and threw up two nights ago. My mother in law called and received the most rude response, “ Why is it that only you guys complain? We don’t have any complaints from anyone else.”

Heard this was 1 of the best place for Chinese BBQ in the area. Ordered roast duck, soy sauce chicken and asked for them to be chopped. The lady taking the order was very curt and impatient even with just 1 person behind us. Butcher handled the food without gloves and would wipe off his hands with a white towel. Having been told by hubby how often he’s spied male food preppers go to the restroom but not wash their hands upon leaving (in general, not specifically this place) I’m concerned about the cleanliness and would’ve preferred another layer of protection.

I don’t know where the complaints come from cause I always order, 711-Black marinated mushroom duck, and the service is always the same! The young lady taking orders is fast and takes orders quickly. She answers the phones, talks to the cooks in the back, bags orders, and no telling what else. Yes, CASH ONLY and i like it that way. The food is AMAZING every time I order and I’ve ordered the whole duck as well…I could go on and on. I highly recommend this authentic Cantonese restaurant. HIGHlY! Now let me get back to enjoying my food!

I had a very large takeout order consisting of pounds of duck, roast pork and char siu. With such a large order, I am used to receiving some type of thank you gift. However, it took a bit of haggling for them to finally give us some chicken feet on the house. This experience showed me why other reviewers have disliked the customer service. Regardless, the quality of the meats was delicious.
