Tried to call in to order a takeout meal. It was a usual day they normally open. This day, they answered the phone and said they were closed, go figure. I used to eat there often but the prices got out of my budget. I did order from them a couple of months back, food wasn’t what I was used to getting. I decided to try them again but now never know when they open. I will give my business to a different fish camp in the future.

This used to be a good place to eat but they have gone downhill. Ordered bang bang shrimp and it was literally popcorn shrimp drenched in blooming onion sauce and cajun grilled chicken was so rubbery i gave it to my dog. Wont be back unless they get a decent manager to control the quality.

I seldom am able to order the perfect sized meal for my needs. Usually, to get a dish I want I have to order a standard size, then convince the server that I’d found nothing wrong with the meal. With the Weight Watchers options available at Captains Galley, the delicious meal was completely satisfying and I was able to finish dinner.

Food was ok, the place wasn’t that busy(a party of 5, a party of 2, and our table of 2)..we got our food after about 25 minutes and it was warm. Waitress never came back to refill soda, water or hushpuppies, brought bill and offered to go container and soda cup…won’t be back to this one..

Hush puppies were an amazing free appetizer. Seafood all tasted fresh and delicious. Only problem I faced was the relative short staff so it took a hot minute to get the food.
