WOW!! This place is absolutely incredible! Best crab cakes I’ve ever had and the shrimp and lobster spring rolls were delectable. The cheesecake was so creamy and came with this yummy compote. The shrimp was plump and cooked perfectly . The inside is clean, airy, and welcoming; love the atmosphere and vibe! The staff is also wonderful; they’re super friendly and attentive. Amazing bang for your buck, upscale food at casual dining prices. You don’t want to miss it!!

What an unexpected surprise! It’s a little off the main road but easy to get to. The fish tacos are my favorite. All seafood comes from the gulf fresh. Other favorites are shrimp basket and crab cakes. If you are up for the Shrimp n grits it’s sure to please.

Solid seafood, particularly if you’re nearby. Note this is an establishment where you order at the counter – not a traditional sit-down. That being said, they do offer to bring out appetizers first, and checked-in with us more often than some sit-down restaurants!

Excellent dinner on our second to last night. Delicious blackened triple tail and grouper. Crab cakes were great and the artichoke spinach dip was fantastic. Definitely a hidden gem among the other restaurants that have you wait for hours and rush you in and out. Very friendly staff and great food. Thank you!

Outstanding fried grouper and fried shrimp! Chef Ramsay would’ve thrown the hush puppies at the wall just to watch them stick and take advantage of the opportunity to yell. The chef missed on the hush puppies. That’s happened to me at home on the first two or three out of the grease as I feel out the temperature of the dough and how long they need to cook to get the perfect doneness. So, risking myself as the first customer for dinner-I’ll give you that one. Did I say something to them about the hush puppies? Yes-but,there was so much food that I didn’t ask for a re-do. I intentionally arrived at 4 PM so I could take the photos you’ll see below. I’ll definitely be back guys! Enjoy freshness at “Fish On” and avoid the beachfront frozen-food tourist artists!

Catch of the day Snapper/ grilled with grits- excellent! Fish was fresh and grilled perfectly. My husband got the fish & chips and said it was good- standard for fried cod. We rarely return to the same restaurants since we usually like trying new places but, we would absolutely come back here the next time we’re in Destin. Highly recommend.

This is truly a hidden gem in Destin FL!! The most delicious food in a calm and quiet atmosphere. I feel like we stumbled upon a hidden treasure! While everyone is probably eating at the local tourist traps we were eating the most fresh delicious seafood in all Destin! I wish my meal could last forever! We were looking for some healthy and delicious food for this visit. Fish On was spot on and the food was amazing! The staff friendliness, presentation of the dish, freshness and taste were great. The dishes honestly looks like five star hotel quality but affordable!!! The fact that the chef was on Hell’s Kitchen was the cherry on top. We love it.
