My husband and I had a great dinner after a great evening at the casino. Food was amazing. Service was fantastic, Kennedy took great care of us, she suggested the sea bass which melted in my mouth. Perfection!! Martini was on point!! Can’t wait to go back. Love everything about this place.

We were greeted by two hostess who immediately sat us. Our hostess and server immediately poured nice ice cold water and smiles. Our server, Kiara, was so pleasant and helpful for our entire visit! Kiara, offered some drink suggestions based on a few questions she asked us. She gathered our drinks and immediately came back with them. She asked if this was our first time visiting and it was. She made a few recommendations to us for appetizers and dinner just by simply listening when we were talking. I loved the fact that she has tried everything on the menu and was able to offer complimentary meal pairings. Our appetizers and main course entrees were not spaced too far apart. That is pet peeve of mines! For appetizers we had the calamari and lamb chops. Hats off to the chef as he did not overcook them at all. There is a sauce prepared with the chops that put a little zing at the end of the taste to the chop. The calamari was fresh as well and the sauce paired with it was great. For the main entree there was one crab cake from the compliment section of menu. That one crab cake was so tall and thick full of crab meat! The chicken confit was superb!!! My grandfather is very particular about his chicken and it passed his test with flying colors. The fat from the chicken was very flavorful. Also, we had the pork chops which was good and not overcooked at all. The only request I have is maybe offer a side of onions or cooked green apple to complement the chop. The sides are large enough to split four ways and still have leftovers. The Sweet Potato Praline has notes of a sweet potato pie. It was served hot and very fragrant. The garlic mashed potatoes shocked me with the amount of garlic at the end of the taste pallet it presented with hints of melted cheese. This dish was clearly well planned. We also tried the table side Chopped Salad and the Caesar salad. Both are great options and it was noted that they make their own croutons in-house!

What a great experience. I wasn’t able to visit for my birthday and decided today would be the day to do so. The food was really good and my server Steven S. took very good care of me. As I looked over the menu, he suggested the she crab soup and said it was the best he’d had. I decided to try it and when I say it was the best I’d ever had…believe me! It definitely was. For my entree, I chose the crab cake, Admiral’s salad, and the lobster mac n cheese. I enjoyed all of it, except the lobster mac n cheese. It was good, but not to my liking. Not sure what it was, but I just couldn’t make myself enjoy it.

I’ve been twice and had an amazing experience each time. The second visit was slightly better only because the server happened to be the same one from before (Rachel), and she remembered us as well as our preferences. This goes a long way for me. The food was very tasteful. And the atmosphere was quaint and professional. This is by far my favorite restaurant in Portsmouth!

My wife and I had an amazing waitress (Rachel). Rachel’s excellent customer service certainly enhanced our overall experience! We loved everything about this restaurant. The food and the ambiance! My wife stated that we needed to come back so she can try other menu items including the sushi. I got the ribeye and my wife got the beef short rib…..DELICIOUS! We will definitely be back!!!!

I just had an amazing meal at Admiral’s Steak & Seafood. I ordered the Fil Min & a glass of Pinot Noir. They were served at the right temps and paired very well together. My sides were large and were equally great tasting. I forgot THE BREAD! Live good, eat good bread and drink good wines.
