The service was impressive and Michael checked in on us every 5-10 minutes to make sure we were taken care of. On top of that my food was exceptional. Highly recommend the McAngus breakfast sandwich with the hash brown

First place I’ve eaten at in Idaho. Came from California to visit Jackson Hole to snowboard. Great hospitality. I ordered the MEAT MEAT MEAT Burrito. It was delicious.

Don’t let the appearance scare you. It’s clean and has good food for a great price. Great service. Best meal I have had our entire 10 trip across 4 states and it only cost me $8!! Simple and tasty. My side salad was NOT made of iceberg lettuce!!! I was over joyed.

Great service, very fast, and the burgers were yummy. It is a cute old timey breakfast and lunch restaurant. Highly recommend eating here on your way back from the Palisades or after you stop at Fall Creek Falls.

This is truly the classic old diner. Good prices, awesome food, a place almost non existent these days. Take the time to come grab some breakfast here, you won’t be disappointed.

We stayed near by and asked the locals where to eat breakfast and the referred us to Angus, so naturally we looked up the reviews and 4.1 isn’t bad, so we went there for breakfast and it was amazing the best 3 meat breakfast I’ve ever had…People reviewing need to calm down, seriously stop reviewing the fact that they have a political opinion and that yes the owner carries a gun while serving food. Food was wonderful, service was friendly, if you’re ever in the area stop and eat. Don’t judge by the outside appearance or the reviews, some people are just snobs and don’t know good home cooking.

Being from Idaho, one of my favorite trips to share when coming back with my children is the Swan Valley square ice cream run. This time, we decided to get a quick bite to eat before enjoying our frozen treat. We walked in looking to place a to-go order and our children wore their masks. We are both vaccinated, our children are not; so they usually mask up in crowded public settings. They are used to (and even comfortable with) being the only ones in masks, especially since they are aware that others have different opinions about vaccines and masks. So we encourage individual accountability, and teach our children about different opinions in the world so they can make their own informed decisions. While placing my order, the lady at the griddle made a comment I didn’t hear but my wife did, telling our children if they wanted to wear their masks they needed to go outside. As the paying patron, I wasn’t kicked out, only my children (who received a good lesson about the power of ignorance). After finding out what was said, I cancelled our order, so I don’t know how the food tastes, but I am utterly dismayed by the lack of hospitality and outright ridiculousness of this action. They couldn’t know why our children were wearing masks, if they were at risk or just risk averse. We didn’t ask anyone to stand back, wear masks, or change what they were doing. We just wanted to get some lunch and eat outside. Instead, the Angus Cafe lumped our children into a political ideology where one shouldn’t exist. Without question, it is their establishment and within their right to refuse service over what seems to be their political opinions. At least post a sign so patrons know beforehand what to expect, “freedom to be yourself as long as it doesn’t look too liberal.”
