Food was so good and the staff were absolute sweethearts!! All of them were so kind and accommodating! They also were playing super good music which is a huge plus! Amazing place! I got the takoyaki and spicy shrimp roll and both were A+!!

Normally I don’t have any issues when I order from here but the last couple times I’ve had issues. The last time I ordered a crab roll and spicy shrimp and they gave me tuna and salmon roll which is clearly not close to what I got. This time I ordered the spicy shrimp and all it was was shrimp tempura with spicy sauce on it. That is not a spicy crab roll and I’m disappointed because I really liked this place.

The food was tasty and service was okay. The sushi was not the best in town; however, I can see myself returning for the ramen bowls (Chicken Paitan & Osaka meat lover). The Yakitori appetizer was so flavorful! I recommend.

I usually eat at the restaurant but at another location that located in chesapeake, this time I came here with friend after class. It is very convenient for me as it is located near ODU campus. Their severs are always nice. The food here always makes me happy and satisfied.

Food is delicious!! I’ve been twice. The first time, it took our server almost 30 minutes just to take our order, and they were far from busy. The second time I went, the table they sat at was sticky with some kind of brown liquid. Like they washed the table with sweet tea. They immediately moved us to another table that was perfectly clean but still. Great food, though.

I made a reservation for 4 people and when I arrived and explained I had a reservation the waitress looked at me and said “that means nothing to me” and walked off saying she would “check on it” and never talked to anyone else and my reservation ended up not being honored. Unfortunate because I had read that the food was good and it was in very close proximity to my plans for the evening.

I really hate to write poor reviews but we had the worst food I’ve ever had at this type of restaurant. We ordered takeaway as they were short staffed. That took 30 minutes to get our food even. Our sushi was super bland. It didn’t have a drop of wasabi or ginger to enjoy with either of our rolls. The ramen was possibly the worst takeaway food ever. There was not a drop of broth, the egg was terrible, there was not a bit of flavor in that bowl with the exception of the pieces of chicken. I have two teens and both absolutely hated it so much that we sadly had through out the entire $15 bowl. It was what my daughter had been craving her for birthday celebration and I felt so awful. We had to go into our concert with her hungry. What a birthday letdown. I do hope this isn’t normal. Had we not been in a time crunch we would have returned to the restaurant. We live near Williamsburg and came just for the evening into town. I hope that this restaurant course corrects. I cannot imagine running a business with this type of food. Again, I normally would not be this harsh but it really was that bad and disappointing.

*update* Had bad later experience, girl never checked on me after bringing food so had to go to register and cash out with her. Asked for a to-go container from same girl and she rushed back to the table as I signed my bill and cleared it before I could get there with my container. Wow!
