Nice environment and wonderful service but skimpy on the fillings in sushi. I ordered a roll that featured mussels in the description and could not find any in the roll. When I asked about it I was told they were chopped up in the filling but I found none, even when I dismantled the roll and looked inside. That said the flavors were good.

Me and my boyfriend went here to try the sushi because I had gone there when it was still Wasabi. I’m very skeptical of new sushi places and my boyfriend is SUPER picky, but we decided to give it a shot and loved it! We went a little later and were the only ones there, but our waitress gave us time to look and decide and was right there when we were ready. Our rolls came out one at a time as they were made which was nice and they were all amazing!! Even my picky boyfriend ate half of all 4 and had no complaints. So happy to actually have a really good, quality sushi place in sequim! Keep it up!!

Have been here twice, first time took forever to get our food. Second time, I got my sushi and it was missing the avocado, cream cheese and sweet sauce, the crab in it tasted like squid. More expensive then koto and half the quantity and half the quality.

Hot saki, cold beer, fresh fish and warm service–all excellent and all included in the quaint package that is Osaka. Owner and staff are friendly and known for often giving a little extra than expected. It’s the only authentic experience in town and better than what you’d find driving for hours. Every town needs a “definitive sushi place” to go to, and this is it.

Place was casual, staff was friendly, and their sushi was delicious (thick and not dried out – better than the moving belt sushi places!) You can also order things from the Wok, teriyaki, udon soup, bento etc. And you use a dry erase marker on the menu to order! 🙂 At first, it looked like there was no one there, and we were afraid to go in. Then one guy opened the door and smiled, showing us they were open. The rest of the dinner crowd followed soon after!

Honestly, I was pleasantly surprised! The sushi chef served me himself and even comped me some wonderfully buttery white tuna nigiri. I had the sashimi platter that made my mouth very happy.

Really good quality from what I saw. Didn’t try the tuna yet but I will next time I’m here. There is no sign saying Osaka, I think because of new ownership. Look for wasabi Japanese restaurant sign instead. Friendly staff 🙂
