Ordered this place on Uber Eats after wanting to try a new mexican place and I wasn’t let down! We ended up getting a good sampling of the menu.. Tacos, burritos, torta, asada fries and a gordita.

Best Mexican food ever. My husband has lived in at least 7 states and he claimed that this place had the best Mexican food he had ever had. He is a huge meat eater so I was surprised when he said that he only gets the cheese enchiladas. The salsa was super spicy. The food was straight off the stove fresh and hot. The waitress was on point with everything. With only 6 tables in shop she was the only one running the front and she worked hard. My husband said that the food was so good that he would get a job there just to learn how to make their food. The only junk thing about this place is the parking. There is only street parking.

The wait time was much longer than quoted .. we waited almost 15 mins inside. They forgot one of our meals and we didn’t realize until we got home.. ok yes, I should have verified everything before leaving the parking lot but with such a large order (12 items) and us having to wait 15 minutes inside the restaurant for it I assumed it would have been correct. The food was less than edible, so ALOT of money wasted and almost everything thrown in the trash.. Their “queso” is more of a solidified burnt milk curdle with some hot salsa mixed in it. I wish I would have taken a picture but it was quickly tossed in disappoinment. We ordered chicken in our kids meals quesadillas and there was none. The quesadillas were ice cold when we got home. The tamal was crumbling and lacked flavor. The pollo marinado plate went into the trash. The chicken was pretty much dehydrated jerky. The chimichanga was supposed to be chicken but I’m pretty sure it was pork. They gave us giant burrito size tortillas so I dipped those in the beans which again I’ve had better but I was hungry from a long day at the beach and needed anything to eat at this point. My youngest ate two helpings of the rice. It tasted microwaved and lacked flavor but also had huge chunks of burnt clusters in it as well. The chips were very stale. Super disappointed in the wasted money.

Great food and service but the tab does not match the menu. Chorizo was $1 more than menu. Extra potatoes were $1 instead of.50. fajitas and pollo were $17.11 instead of $15.75. I know places do this but it’s super frustrating!!!! Not a fan.

This food was absolutely amazing. Real Mexican food, hand made chips, handmade salsa that was HOTT! My favorite Mexican place on the island. Total hole in the wall, with only 4 tables. Take it to go if you want!

I’ve been trying to visit this hole in the wall for almost a year based on friend’s recommendations. It’s either closed or between lunch/dinner service, or randomly closed for the day for unknown reasons. Considering this place is an hour drive round trip from me, you can understand my extreme frustration with their unreliable schedule. With that in mind, their food is totally worth it! It’s not the style of Mexican good I was expecting, but it was delicious nonetheless. If you happen to be in Wahiawa when the moon is 1/18th waxing gibbous, they might be open, and you should certainly try it out!

Have missed authentic Mexican home cooking quality. Refried beans are absolutely delicious. Have never had something I didn’t love and always clear my plate despite generous portions!

I ordered the Chile Relleno wet and what I got was two dry cold and soggy battered peppers. Really like this place and was willing to try something new especially since I’ve been eating military food for the last month and this disappointed me to the full.
