23 of us came in on Sunday 8/6/2023 at the end of a family vacation. We were seated between three tables. Melia was our server with another girl (I’m sorry I didn’t catch her name) and they absolutely ROCKED it that day. We were a large party and we all felt well cared for. All the orders were right and we never felt neglected.

This place is super cute! The decor was really nice and trendy, like an upscale diner. Plus they had a few mini golf holes and an arcade room. The food was very yummy. The gluten free pancakes were delicious and super fluffy. I ordered the short stack which was huge! The omelet was chock full of veggies. The real star of the meal was the Sweet Trio!! Sadly it wasn’t gluten free but my husband sure enjoyed it, and it smelled amazing!

The food was average. I think Denny’s is better. For what you get, the food is over priced. The only thing good is our waiter, who is tentative in bringing us coffee. I don’t think I’ll come back here again.

No wait at all for us on an early Sunday morning. Seated immediately and our server was very friendly and attentive. Our meal was filling with the larger portions served and the blueberry muffin was perfect warmed with a little dab of butter. It went well with the never ending coffee refills which was mildly strong and rich, not watered down like other restaurants. It was a great experience and hopefully it will be the same if not better on our future visits.

Mothers day celebration started with our traditional brunch, this time we went back to basics, broken yolk, our favorite American Breakfast restaurants. If you haven’t experienced the food or service at the Broken Yolk I highly recommend you give it a try.

The service was amazing and the food came out quick. Broken Yolk Cafe at Carmel Mountain knows what they’re doing. I had the French toast combo and Aaron had the trio with a side of hash browns and then he wanted to try the chicken fried steak. He’s a foodie! lol The gravy was spot on southern style! Thank you, Gerardo for taking good care of us.

Had the first really good, satisfying, traditional breakfast after a week staying in a nearby motel during a family emergency. The motel’s free breakfast had gotten really OLD. Being originally from the South, I had to try the biscuits and gravy, which was excellent. My wife and brother each enjoyed their breakfasts as well. The service was friendly and efficient and if you are a dog person, there were plenty of welcome pooches in the outdoor seating we were in.

Walked into a pretty empty restaurant with nobody to greet you as you walked in. Not a great start. Food order was taken. Didn’t ask any questions in regards of a first time visitor. What would be a great recommendation to have. Pretty much your basic place for breakfast. 3 people eating cost us close to $50.00 as far as the wow factor. Nope nothing you couldn’t find in another place. The rice that was served was hard and unflavored. Overall I wouldn’t pick this place as a second go around.

Amazing drinks the mimosas flight was very tasty and a great variety. The breakfast food was good but not amazing the biscuits and gravy was a little plain. But the omelette with bacon was decent. Would recommend the French toast instead it looked tasty.
