You Really Have To Look For This Place, But When You Find It, It’s Well Worth It. The Sliced Brisket Is Moist And Tender, The Ribs Have A Nice Smokey Flavor To Them, The Regular And Spicy Smoked Sausage Are A Must And To Top It All Off, They Have Smoked Chicken And Sausage Gumbo. Since The Only Barbeque They Have In Slidell Is Chain Owned And Operated, I Might Have To Come Back Here. The Downside Is The Parking. You’ll Get Stuck If You Geaux Around 1-2. But Hey, You’ll Leave Full And Happy.

The quality of food was good , staff was very friendly . Corn nuggets are my Fav I was excited they had them ! their baked beans were , brisket was tender . I only have a 4 ⭐️ because of space , there was only 1 6 op table and it’s close to the restrooms and people had to constantly squeeze through and ask us to pass . But overall great place and they are great community supporters ! My only regret today is I didn’t try dessert but I had no room for it

Stumbled upon this place otw to buy camping gear. Upon entering we were greated by that sweet Southern charm. Food was delicious and the sides were amazing. I ordered a Caesar salad. The dressing was homemade and was topped with shaved Parmigiano. Wow, definitely taking a trip out to Covington the next time we want BBQ.

Food was overall good. Brisket has little fat and pulled pork had more than I like but it tasted good. Jambalaya and baked beans sides were good. Not a strong smoke taste but paired good with sauces. They have regular, hot and smoky sauces. Easy quick meal.

Overall, the chopped brisket and Mac and cheese were phenomenal. So much better than any other BBQ places around. The Jambalaya, on the other hand, was atrocious. It had no flavor, and honestly tasted like I was eating white rice with Chicken and Sausage. I’m definitely going to come back, but will be staying away from the Jambalaya.

I used to come here with my family as a kid, and we stopped in for a nostalgic meal on a recent visit. Just as delicious and enjoyable as we remembered…I dream about those dang corn fritters. We frequent Sweet Daddy’s, probably once a week. Their staff is polite and their food is usually hot & delicious! This is not fast food, but its definitely worth the usual 10 to 15 min wait. Highly recommend.
