I was really excited during my evening bike ride when I realized this place was finally open. Unfortunately I was extremely disappointed right from the start I was charged $15 dollars for one bottle of Bud light and a mixed “bar” vodka and cranberry. The Establishment was offering entertainment and once again absolutely horrible the musician could barely play the guitar and definitely could not carry a tune. When I asked the bartender how much the drinks were she got very nasty. Definitely will not be back.

I was there on Saturday evening. This place was quite busy but I loved the way they were attending every guest and we were able to get our table within 10-15 minutes, I appreciate the gesture.

We had a Birthday Party for our 84 Year Old Friend on Thursday, September 2nd at 54 West. The 5 of us sat in a comfortable outside area that made it easy for us to talk and enjoy the Beautiful Atmosphere! We had some Guacamole, Queso, Chips and Salsa for our Appetizer, which we all loved! Our Margarita’s, Bloody Mary’s, and Paloma’s were Top Notch! The Entrées we ordered included Fajitas, Chimichanga’s, Burrito’s, and even a Vegan Dish! Our Friends stated that they haven’t had Mexican Food this good in Years! When it came time to Sing Happy Birthday to our Friend, Brent our Waiter and Bartender, brought out this Beautiful and Delicious Fried Ice Cream Dessert!! Not only our Table and Brent sang Happy Birthday to Dave, but all the Tables around us did as well!! It was sooo fun, and Dave really got a kick out of it!! Also, the Mural being drawn and painted on the outside Wall of Mojave is Beautiful, which we found out that Crystal, the Manager of Mojave Designed and is Painting it herself!! Now, we need to go back and see the completed Design!! I Highly recommend 54 West and Mojave to anyone looking for Great Food, Drinks, and Atmosphere!!

Sat at the bar for 20 minutes and not one of the four bartenders even looked in our direction let alone take our order. The bar was half empty and bartenders were clearing tables instead of taking our order when there wasn’t anyone waiting for a table and the place was empty. Someone who appeared to be a manager walked out the bar area looked right at us without drinks and didn’t do a thing. Will not be returning.

Came out yesterday on our first warm 80 degree day of the year and was hoping for some fun and drinks, however was greeted rudely and was made to feel like we weren’t wanted there. The staff looked as if they didn’t want to be there therefore yhe customers suffered the consequences of that. We waited at the bar for 30 minutes without getting any food or drinks. Don’t waist your time going there or to Clawson for that matter instead go to royal oak where everyone is welcomed and treated respectfully.

This place has a very cool vibe with lots of couches, dim lighting, and a cool bar in the middle. I also love that it is open air! The food was pretty good. Unfortunately our service was incredibly slow – we waited nearly an hour for a quesadilla and an order of fajitas, and had to repeatedly flag down a server for water refills and our bill.
