Stopped for lunch today. My wife got the Arepa Reina Pepiada which she compares to chicken salad and she absolutely loves this sandwich. I got the Pabellon Arepa which also comes as a plate. The meat is tender and the beans and plantains really make this Arepa (sandwich) something special. We finished off our meal with the Quesillo which is the Venezuelan version of the Flan. This is the best Flan in all of Nueces County and quite frankly I’ve never tasted any better, anywhere. This place is small and friendly and has about 6 tables, though I’ve never had a problem getting a seat. The owner and her servers are always polite and helpful and happy to see you. Don’t forget to ask about her specials. My wife and I just love this place.

What delicious dishes. I am so speechless and Ora herself was out and about mingling with the diners. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and explained every dish to us. The tables around us told us how much they loved Ora’s Kitchen. And the food was just supremely tasty. What more do I say!!?

The atmosphere was very nice. The food was delicious. Ora takes great pride in creating these wonderful authentic dishes. My fav Pastel de Platano, is sweet and savory a must try. Beef pabellon was wonderful and the cheese arepa was perfec!! Stop by and experience these delicious dishes!

Had a great visit here. The owner was so friendly and kind. We will definitely be back with friends. We ordered the special and it was served quick and hot. The flavors reminded me of my grandmas picadillo. The Cachapa is a most try. We ordered it with just cheese and cream, but definitely want to try with chicken next time.

My mouth is watering as I’m writing this review. I can still taste the delicious flavors exquisitely put together in there Cachapa con Carne in my mouth. My taste buds have been dosed with dopamine with the Venezolana food. They strive for not only making you these delicious homemade dishes from Venezuela but the service is just as amazing, they are the sweetest! They make you feel as you are entering there home and they sit you down just as a mother would, even giving you hugs and feel so welcome! Thank you Ingrid for showing such great hospitality to me.
