Really enjoyed dinner here this evening! Service from our server Abby was supper on point. Food was delicious. I’m pretty picky. I’ve logged many years in hospitality, including working as a server at Gibson’s Bar & Steakhouse in Chicago. We had the bruschetta to start, split a side Caesar (even splitting a side for two – the portion was still too much), and had a cowboy bone in rib-eye, lobster tail, and goat cheese mashed potatoes. The steak was majorly on point so 5 starts for that alone. I really liked the bruschetta and caesar salad too. Quality cocktail and wine service. Great vibes and appreciated all the friendly service. Prices were totally reasonable for what it is. Def cheaper than Gibson’s, but more expensive than nearly anywhere else in the area. It’s a really good option if you are in Spring Lake and I’d highly recommend you give it a try. It’s so nice to have such a high quality option for a nice dinner in the Grand Haven area!

We made our visit to Finn’s on a low-key weekday and really enjoyed ourselves. Sat at the bar and indulged in pasta, wine and even some cake! The pasta portion was larger than expected and hit the spot. The bar tender was absolutely fabulous. Finn’s atmosphere was cozy and moody – one that certainly pleases the eye.

We were married in the Grand Haven area on 07/28/23 and had our small reception at Finn’s after the wedding. They were absolutely amazing!!! The managers and wait staff, Katie and another gentleman I do not know the name of, were excellent! They were attentive, friends, helpful and so accommodating to our group! They even set aside a small table next to our wedding party for the cake we ordered from the local bakery for us to do the traditional cake cut. The food was incredible and our drinks from the bar top notch! The bartender went into their reserves to get the McAllen 12 my husband had requested. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to have our first meal together as a new family.

It was dark inside, they kept bumping the light switch, and at one point actually lit it up well enough I could see the food I was trying to eat, so the light do get brighter, they just intentionally turned them way down. The tables are packed into this place as tight as possible and nobody knew how to talk with an “inside voice” so we could hardly hear each other talk. The food was pretty good, but not good enough to justify the insanely high prices. It was $200 for the 2 of us to eat! I unfortunately cannot recommend this place, and won’t be going back, it’s too expensive, and the service was pretty slow.

Had a nice anniversary meal. Great salads to start. As there was a small plate with the table setting, I asked about bread. Was told we don’t have a bread service?? Is this a new thing? I have been to many upper end restaurants in many cities and this is a first. I understand GF is a big deal everywhere but I was very surprised to say the least at this oversight.

Was good! Can’t say it’s my new favorite local steak house, [hint: you’ll find it in Saugatuck…] but fun, portentous atmosphere, and interesting menu. Struck me as a bit odd that you had to turn the page beyond the entrées to find the steak offerings at a chop house. ♂️

Went with my mom and the food was delicious, I had two dry gin martinis that were SO good, the BEST SALMON I’ve ever had in my life, and the BEST creme brûlée for dessert. Our server Todd was very efficient with his service, THANK YOU FINNS

This was a wonderful place to dine. The staff were very friendly and attentive and the food was fantastic. The atmosphere is upscale and has a speakeasy vibe. The prices are pretty high, but for a fine dining establishment, that is to be expected. The portions were surprisingly large, compared to what you would find at an fine dining restaurant in large cities, so you definitely won’t leave hungry. The reservations are very hard to get, but if you can manage it, I would highly recommend giving Finn’s a try.
