Loved happy hour (4-6) and the appetizers we got were amazing. We got the bri crute and spinach and crawfish bread. The Moscow mule, and margarita were nice and strong. The French 75 is also on the happy hour menu even though not printed or advertised anywhere.

Be sure to stop in at Bin 77 when you’re in the area- great place for drinks! I recommend the Rosemary Mule, Blackberry Lemondrop, and the Cucumber Gimlet. Beautiful ambience outside with a live band on Thursdays.

Wow! All I can say is that we’ve been here twice and the food was phenomenal. We’ve had the baked Brie each time, and seasonally it is prepared with a varying compote, both have been amazing.

Do not come here with the expectation of big portions – it is a tapas bar, and a good one. The flavors and flavor combinations are on point. The drinks were also outstanding. The space inside and out as well as the choice of music are tasteful without being overwhelming.

Excellent location, ambience, and selection of both food and wine. The wait staff is exceptional and always ready to make an informed recommendation or suggest a pairing. Their roasted garlic hummus small plate is a real treat. Additionally, Bin 77 has one of the better happy hours in time. This place is a real gem for Baton Rouge.

Food was sooooo good. The outdoor dining was such a vibe at night. Services was timely and the wine was perfectly chilled.

We had dinner here on Thursday evening to celebrate our daughter’s graduation from LSU. The food was wonderful. The patio atmosphere was great..until the live entertainment started. The female vocalist was belting out so loudly, it was almost ear shattering and it made it impossible to have a conversation even though we were seated at the opposite end of the patio. We asked if her mic could be turned down a bit and were told no. Not one person clapped or seemed to really enjoy the music. It was disappointing that considering the amount we spent on drinks and dinner for four, that we couldn’t enjoy our celebration because of the excessively loud, screeching music. Music should add to the ambiance, not ruin it.

This is my second time visiting Bin 77. I can say I was impressed this time. The first time not so much. So I delayed my review. And I am glad I did!!! With two visits I can say nice place to visit. However if you have never been in the area parking looks and feel terrible. Second time around I was more comfortable and I parked in the right garage and had no problem finding my car. The first time not so much. Took me an hour to locate my car. Siri let me down. I actually swore I would never go back. Second thoughts, the band was good. Now on to the good part, Visit number two! The do over is worth raving about. the food, the ambience, the drinks were impeccable I can only speak for what I had. I had two lemon drops and a seared drum fish dressed with Carrot, risotto, root vegetables, Carrot gremalata, and crab fat butter. Excellent and I mean WoW. I believe at that moment in time this restaurant managed to shut down the pickiest eater and food critic in the world!! This dish was everything. Cost depends on your pockets. I didn’t have my sweet treat. I was actually satisfied and left a clean plate. They do have a reputation for excellent desserts. When the name of this restaurant crossed my path I was taking a bite of its tres leche. It was good! So I say all of this to say if you are in Baton Rouge and looking for an adult hangout spot. Bin 77 is it. When it comes to the menu have an open mind. You can not miss at the bar. And ask for Jill as your server!
