Excellent location with river view in back room. Very nice spot, with more tables than I expected. Nice waitress provided great service. The special of the day mexican style chicken topped with sauce and cheese was very tasty, dry and overcooked. Beans and Spanish rice were also tasty with cold cornbread. ( I like mine hot). Fettuccine alfredo was simple, and ok. Cesare salad was very good. Roast beef was sliced thin, piled high, with varying degrees of “done”. Nice potatoes and broccoli. Table next door had a yummy looking crock of french onion soup Great location, pricing could equal a bit more attention to quality. Note: newly opened getting act together…Wishing you success. The Bistro just opened in February 2023. The food is great and price is reasonable. Had Saturday breakfast, the meal is great. Open biscuit with sausage gravy is yummy. Had Friday dinner, the pizza is good too.

Though the food is good, it’s overpriced and the menu is very limited. Also extremely understaffed with a preferential waitress. I witnessed her frequently bypass people who had been waiting patiently 15+ mins for drinks or menus to attend to other tables or take the orders of people who had just arrived. This is definitely a spot geared toward village residents and not welcoming toward outsiders.

Extremely slow service. “Brenda”, an older, unkempt woman was very rude and extremely slow to those she did not deem important. Unfortunately our party was the latter. Have never had such rude, terrible service in the many years I have been coming here. Rather than waste money, walked out.
