The fries were terrible, sandwich was good. The young girl who took our order was disgusting, I watched her dig around in her hair while taking our orders then proceeded to hand us our drink cups with those same fingers. Then while I was eating I watched her rub her nose in an upward motion towards her forehead 3 times while I was eating and never once did she go wash her hands. The floors, table, and salt shaker are covered in yuck. You can literally see the grease mess on the floor in the mop sweeps. Absolutely disgusting place!

Friendly staff. Food was delicious! My husband is from Iowa and while driving thru we found this place. Our teens had the burgers and they said they were really good. Pork tenderloins come in 2 sizes…and do not be fooled but the term “small” because its basically large and jumbo for sizes lol. Criss cut fries and tots were both awesome too. Oh….and their prices are so low its ridiculous! Not sure how they can charge so little!

Good was pretty good overall. Onion rings left something to be desired. Food otherwise was hot and very nice service. The amount of build-up on the pop machine was concerning, but overall if I’m in the area, I’ll come back.

Love these Mom and Pop Restaurants. Had a home cooked meal of homemade Salisbury Steak with mashed potatoes and beef gravy. Tasted pretty dam good. I will definitely be paying this place a lot of future visits. They are pretty known for their tenderloin steaks on this side of Cedar Rapids. The Restaurant is for dine in and take out. Comfortable atmosphere and very calm. The staff were very friendly and welcoming with smiles. If u haven’t been here, take my word for it…its good!! Prices are very nice for the food and service u get. Check em out. You’ll be glad u came and so will ur taste buds. Great Job Joensy’s!!

Had the Iowa famous pork lion hand made sammich with fries. It’s definitely a good hearty meal and for the cost well worth it! The staff was absolutely amazing and made a phenomenal burger for my pup. This place has a huge heart and good food.

Pork tenderloin sandwich for the win! I got pickles and tomatoes with mine – onions optional. Clean, quiet, and great service even though they were backed up with online orders when we went in. Enough food leftover for lunch the next day!

I had Hot Roast Beef sandwich it came with mashed potatoes. Hubby had the chicken fried steak that came with mash potatoes and corn. The mashed potatoes were REAL not a dried mix. The bread is Texas bread.
