It’s easy enough to review the places you encounter on your day-to-day journey. It’s entirely another story to review a place that you stumble upon. The Briar Patch is that kind of gem. It all started with my husband‘s miscalendar of his haircut appointment. It left us scrambling for another place on a Friday at 5 PM. He was happily ensconced in a chair at the Noble Barber as I meandered next door to the briar patch. My sole goal was to find a single cocktail to pass the humid afternoon of the south. What I found was the “sparkling flight” of champagne-based cocktails. It, of course, included the ever-faithful French 75.

The Briar Patch is definitely a good nice chill spot! Love the atmosphere! The workers are some sweet very helpful very knowledgeable people! Taylor & company are true gems! The atmosphere is soo chill here. Everyone is comfortable and the air is light. I wasn’t ready for a place like this. The Owner/employees know what they have here and are very inviting. The charcuterie boards are amazing and the drinks are on point. Even when it got busy, it wasn’t loud and crazy
