I’m willing to give this place one more shot, but man…what a let down. With all the build up to the opening of this place, my first thought, “yay…Cultural diversity outside the norms in food.”

My husband & I ate lunch at Sultan’s on Saturday. The service was terrific and the food was delicious. We split a chicken kabob wrap and a Fattoush salad. We will definitely be returning. This is just the type of restaurant Jackson was lacking. Hopefully, they will soon be open for the dinner hour, also.

I love this type of food. Great service. Need to offer us a better lunch combo option. I would rather have grilled veggies then humus. Better garlic sauce. This one is made with mayo…better made with ice. I look forward to them improving as we go. Please buy better silverware/plasticware. Owner is a really pleasant guy and so is the staff. More flavor on the tawook

Excellent food AND excellent service. They had my takeout order done in less than 5 minutes. I usually don’t like vegetable platters, but the veggie and chicken dishes are great! Love to see food like this in Jackson!

I want to be clear that I wasn’t expecting something to be Palm Palace-tier at this location, but I was hoping for something at least decent or passable. This was incredibly disappointing. We were asked how we wanted our lamb cooked and chose rare, but it was beyond well done. The rice was very bland. The hummus had waaaay too much tahini so it was a sesame bomb. Veggies were cold. Grape leaves were lukewarm. We didn’t get one of our two soups that we paid for, but the one we got was lukewarm and congealed, and bland to boot. The falafel and garlic sauce were pretty good, but that isn’t going to carry everything else. I feel like food is probably prepared well in advance and kept in a buffet or reheated. Would not return. Even if I had the most dire of cravings for this sort of food, I’d still prefer to drive to Ann Arbor or Lansing.

This place is excellent! They have authentic middle-eastern cuisine at a great price. The staff is friendly, and service is quick. They have a selection of vegetarian options, and everything is delicious

OK if you’re in the mood for the food, but I’ve had much better. Pita on the sandwich was too thick. Combo platter was so-so. Hummus was thin. Prices are decent.

How is it they are a Mediterranean resturant yet their lamb is over spicy over tough and lacks flavor? Their beef is ok a little over seasoned yet that too lacks basic flavors. sad that place took lennys sub shop. lennys was way better than sultans and their dessert makes me wanna puke. It shouldnt be considered a dessert but puke in a container
