Nice sandwich shop on the Main Street of Shelbyville. I ordered a Italian melt that came with chips and a drink. The sandwich melt was very flavorful. I tried their iced tea and it was nicely sweetened and enjoyable. The menu has a variety of sandwiches, soups, and chili. The dining area is set up like a small town diner with table and booth seating. I will certainly keep this shop in mind when I am back in Shelbyville.

We order lunch frequently from McKinley’s. The food is always delicious and the service is excellent. I highly recommend the McKinley special sandwich, Southwest or Greek salad, or the Ham, apple, Gouda sandwich. The meal deal for $12 is a lot of food and the daily specials have been very good each time we have tried them. The bakery case has homemade chess bars, muffins, a big variety of cookies and brownies. It’s irresistible.

Local favorite for lunch. For years I’ve been getting the 615 it’s a delicious sandwich! Everything else looks so good. Maybe one day I’ll try something different. The chess bars are so good for dessert. I did pick out chocolate cookies and chocolate and cheesecake muffins to try this time. Highly recommend trying out if you haven’t. You could spend under $10 but it’s so hard not to get dessert and one of the different sides(pasta, soup or potato salad) which will put you at around $15ish.

Excellent lunch spot with plenty of handmade sandwiches made with fresh bread. They had so many options to choose from and each of the sandwiches we got were extremely flavorful and filling. We had stopped here since it was close to our AirBnB and it did not disappoint!!! Highly recommend and still craving it weeks later!!!

Staff extremely friendly. Food prep area too small for volume of orders, which leads to delays. Noisy, worse in rear near ice machine which seems in need of repair. Food was ok. Bean soup not the best recipe and too salty.
