I have celiacs disease and always struggle with finding gluten free options wherever I go. I decided to try the gluten free bagel with cream cheese this morning, and sadly I was very disappointed with the outcome I received. I have always been a fan of the coffee and atmosphere of white moon but as a customer who is battling with very low food options I was very excited to try the gf bagel. However I was very disappointed with the outcome I received. There is literally nothing to this bagel. Super thin and barely any cream cheese. Please do better, I love supporting small shops and shopping local, but this is not worth anyone’s money!

The atmosphere here is incredible. The baristas were very welcoming and friendly. I loved all the plants and the music. Their coffee is delicious. I got a lavender oat milk latte and my husband got the golden latte (turmeric based and has no espresso in it). We enjoyed both the drinks. Prices are fair. They have non dairy options. We didn’t have any of there food items but they do have a simple food menu to order from.

Hands down, the classico turkey sandwich is the BEST thing on the menu. Delicious!! Honestly could probably eat two of these in one sitting. That and their muffins are also wonderful! Really hoping they make the cinnamon banana muffin a staple because it was divine. As for the coffee, it’s hit or miss depending on who you’re barista is, but I’ve had some wonderful lattes here!

Sweet little breakfast/lunch spot downtown Sylva. This town was so cute and the cafe definitely matched that vibe. They were welcoming and so friendly. The breakfast sandwich was amazing! One of the best breakfasts we had on our trip. Would definitely go back 10/10!

I was craving a hot chocolate and bagel, and I figured that a coffee shop would have both! I came after visiting the farmer’s market downtown, and I was able to order everything I wanted. The people working were very welcoming and kind. I ordered a hot chocolate made with cashew milk, as well as an everything bagel with a scallion and herb cream cheese. My boyfriend ordered a matcha latte. The hot chocolate was honestly pretty bland, but I think it is because I got it with cashew milk. The bagel was amazing, but the cream cheese was overpowered by the flavor of dill. The matcha latte was delicious! I would definitely come again, and order more from the menu!

Both times I have come to this coffee shop have been great experiences. Sara made me an excellent espresso the first time (not easy to find) and a lovely cappuccino the second time. Their baked goods are made in-house and they’re delicious. Atmosphere is very welcoming and great both for hanging out or for working. Great from top to bottom.

This place has been my second home while being a student at western carolina university the past four years. I’ve seen this place grow from the two owners don & cecelia to a full staff of cool, creative, and friendly people. Being a regular customer all these years, I’ve become close friends with the owners and staff and know everything they serve is top notch and sourced from the best places. The shop has always felt warm and inviting and bursting with creativity and innovation. If ya get a chance to go, try out the avocado smash with a fried egg, the brass monkey or a simple iced latte. Can’t rave about the spot enough. Such a gem in Sylva. ✨
