Went to sals today looking for good food I’m from New York and I have had some really good pizza and Stromboli before… I ordered the deluxe Stromboli and my Fiance order the meet lovers Stromboli and we got Calzone instead well I was hungry so I just went with it. It was burnt and tasted like it was old also the Mozzarella sticks taste like they were microwaved plus the sweet tea, I don’t know what that was definitely won’t be back there again. 56$ for trashy food and trashy service. I am thinking about cooking a good Stromboli in my regular house kitchen with my regular oven tomorrow so I can bring it to the restaurant so they have an idea of what good food is

Don’t even know where to begin… Arrived about 8:30. Everyone in the back just stared at me.. Put in order, cooks did not alert the cashier that my order was ready. Spent almost $50 at that.. Finally made it home and I must say this was the worst Italian food I’ve ever had.. Cheesesteak almost tasted like the meat was spoiled, onion rings were burnt.. A waste of money… I dont know what I was thinking, I should of just went to Jersey Mike’s like I wanted to… all in all it was a terrible experience all around. I figured I’d give Sal a chance but in the end I won’t be coming back.. there are better places to eat… But Sals is not the place.

Very clean and great service. Food was tasty too, with reasonable prices. Sauce needs a bit of tweaking, I added in some garlic powder and red pepper flakes! Then the food was perfect. Calamari was crunchy and delicious. Chopped salad was good too! Will definitely be back!

Wow!!! First time order and I was completely blown away. Easily one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten. Got a Supreme stuffed crust. I always thought stuffed crust meant the outer rim of the crust. Not true as this was actually a pizza pie. 10 of 10.

Excellent in every way. Clean great atmosphere, they were playing Dean Martin it was very nice. The house salad was perfect. Veggies were so fresh and crispy the right combination of ingredients. Not just a side salad. The Antipasto Salad was the same and makes a meal! Now for the pizza….we ordered the Pepperoni Supreme and it is the best pizza I have had in a very long time!!!! The cheese is wonderful and the crust is perfect!!! The service was great and the prices reasonable. Can’t wait to go back!!!

I have to give “Sals Pizza” a 5 star rating! Since opening I’ve visited the establishment many times, and every time I was 100% satisfied! Not just with the food, but the customer service as well. “I haven’t been to many restaurants where you’re personally served by the owner and he prioritizes making your dinning experience he best! I love the environment/ vibe of the restaurant because I always feel relaxed and truly valued as a customer.

Pizza is solid. Crust and sauce on point. Town has been lacking in the pizza department. Location is good. Staff friendly. Only recommendation would to add a lunch special, say pizza and a drink $9.99 Stromboli and drink $9.99 etc to get people in the door. Will have to return for dinner.

We’ve been a few times and the food is always great with warm and attentive staff. Sal is also very welcoming and great with the kids. Sal’s is our new favorite place for Italian around Rocky Mount. If you like white pizza, you won’t find a better one anywhere around.

Just okay. The pizza was just okay. This review is based off one dine-in experience. Ordered mozzarella sticks, deluxe pizza, and white chicken & spinach pizza. I wasn’t a fan of the atmosphere. The sun was blazing through the window in our eyes. The tables were way too close together, I had to ask for a drink refill, no silverware, the plates were curved, had to steal parm shaker from another table. It just wasn’t the dining experience I expected. Will I return? Probably not to dine in. But I will probably pick up an order of pasta some time to round out my experience.
