My husband and I stopped in after Golfing near by. 3 immediate things. 1. There are 3 floors, the Top floor has a smaller menu and it is strictly for their BBQ menu 2. Everything is made in house( Ketchup butter sauces ect ) or gathered from local farms and such 3. Farm to table is what comes to mind.

I have attended three of their Dinner Pairings and all have featured outstanding menus with unforgettable meals. The most recent was their Beer pairing. I can say that I am NOT a beer drinker at all and yet I thoroughly enjoyed most of the beers they featured. This is a first for me! Other than my trip to Belgium, I have never really enjoyed any beers. That has changed with my discovery of their proprietary brews. The food is always extremely well presented and prepared and their ability to pull of a paired tasting multicourse menu for a large group is always impressive.

We had heard great things about Rambling House and were eager to try it for the first time tonight. Unfortunately the service we experienced negated what could have otherwise been a great new spot in Nashua.

I had made reservations the day prior and the restaurant had posted that the upper deck was closed so I was disappointed. However, the restaurant stated that the reviews within the area that we would be seated at. Once we arrive there at our reservation time, we were brought to a table that was literally right near the bathrooms and I could not see any views at all besides the bar and other tables. The atmosphere there was super bright and loud. My first impression I was not impressed. And I was disappointed that we receded so far away from the window, even though we made reservations. The service person died in the beginning and we received our bread and butter quickly. Both bread and butter was extremely good and fresh. We ordered a soda and a glass of wine with no issues. And I ordered the Portabella Ruben and my partner ordered a cheeseburger, which was his second choice, since the restaurant was already out of fish and chips and tacos.. Both of these came with fries. My partner enjoyed the cheeseburger which was very messy and we did have to request more napkins. The times between when we received our food, and when the server checked on us was definitely more extended than any other place. I’ve been. The Portabella Ruben was very salty and greasy , and my french fries were pretty salty, cold and hard. It seemed that my plate had sat out under a warmer for a while. While, I do appreciate that they have a vegan and gluten-free menu we will not be back mostly due to the placement of our seats. It was disappointing for our monthly date night out to not enjoy the views that were promised. We will not be back.

My boyfriend and I went here on a whim for their Boos and Brews event which included dinner, dessert and some adult storytelling from Simon Brooks. Dinner far exceeded our expectations (I got the roasted chicken and he got the lamb shepherd’s pie), dessert was good although I’m not much of a sweets person so the pumpkin ice cream was a great option, and the drinks were fabulous. The storytelling by Simon Brooks was a real treat and he shared some really wonderful (and spooky) stories from other parts of the world. We’ll definitely be coming back in the future even if there isn’t an event going on!

I have been to the Rambling House Food & Gathering Restaurant about 5 times I would guestimate since they opened. The food is typically delicious, but overall, I have not been impressed with the service. Compared to other local establishments that I frequent, the service at Rambling House is a little less than par. The servers are nice, but attentiveness/checking in is definitely lacking, and given the quality of the food, I expect more on the service side.

Went for Sunday brunch and it was great!Amazing food, especially for the price, and unique artisan cocktails. I recommend trying the Chef’s Hash, as the hash changes often and when I went it was a Chorizo sausage blend that was superb. Really nice views of the Nashua river and the rooftop area is a great spot for an evening or night drink.

Amazing can’t start to describe our whole experience here. We started downstairs at the TaleSpinner brewery. We quickly made our way upstairs to the restaurant itself. The staff was very friendly and polite. From the beers to the bread basket to the farm to table, fresh and delicious dishes, this place blew our minds. Very comfortable ambiance, right portions and a promise to be back soon. Forgot to take pics of our food! Rookie mistake
