The gentleman who made my bowl was extremely nice and polite. It’s an expensive place, but the quality is there and it’s worth paying $25+ for a meal, it’s just so good! I love the crab salad and there are a million additions like fried garlic and all sorts of different sauces, highly highly recommend!

Always fresh and tasty! Removed a star because of the portion sizes in the bowls. Multiple times I’ve paid for extra protein and there’s absolutely no difference from when I don’t pay for extra. The portions tend to be on the small size and they skimp out on the amount of protein. I always have so much rice compared to fish. It can get pricey too when adding toppings! I really do love this place but might be better to order in person so you can see portions.

The guy working there asked me where are you from, when I told him Egypt, he said Shokran!

If you actually like sushi and know real sushi, this isn’t the place to go. Minimum effort, food is so poorly tasting that I couldn’t even eat. Neither could my girlfriend eat her own. Many other great sushi places, don’t waste your time.

Last time going to Kaku unfortunately. This is a great poke place; however, so much has changed (I have been going to both locations since they opened). First, prices increased and ingredients were removed from the menu but I continued to order weekly from them. Now, prices have continuously increased and they are giving smaller portions. For example, the large bowl used to be 4 scoops of fish, now it is 3 (for the same, increased price). Every additional topping (avocado, seaweed salad, etc.) has increased as well. Pineapple used to be included in the set bowl price, but now it is an additional price. It is just absolutely not worth going here anymore knowing how it used to be.

We’ve been here numerous times when we visit the area. Each time, we’ve had a pleasant experience. This place can be a bit overwhelming to someone who is unfamiliar with sushi fixings or poke toppings (they are quite similar). However, I’ve always witnessed the workers taking the time to explain and we’ve never felt rushed.

Just walked in to get my to go order. Was ignored for about 5 minutes while I stood at the pick up spot with nobody around me while I can see my order. I understand the two girls working but the guy in the Colorado beanie just walked right up to me, got the order that came in, didn’t acknowledge me in anyway, then walked away. Was ignored until what appeared to be the manager came out from back and when I mentioned I was surprised I was ignored for so long, they didn’t care or offer an apology. I’ll take my business elsewhere in the future

Very disappointed. Used to love this place and frequent it often. Unfortunately, has gone downhill. Portions have gotten much much smaller. Prices have gone up. Quality does not seem the same. Often orders are not correct. Staff is hit and miss. Simply not worth it anymore. Almost $20 for a large bowl…it was 80% rice! The scoops they are using for the sushi must be microscopic! Disappointing.
