Nice little place. Sushi is fantastic! I gave it 4 stars because there are basically 2 tables, a sushi bar and no alcohol is served (it’s BYOB). However, if you’re going to sit or take out, the sushi was really good. We got 3 different rolls. Good portions. You won’t be disappointed!

Fresh and Tasty. Don’t sleep on BluWave sushi! It’s a nice little boutique sushi joint in South Tampa. I got the samurai and volcano roll. Definitely one of the best volcano rolls out there! I’ll 100% be back! I wish there was a st Pete location *wink wink*

Truly exceptional restaurant! Super friendly service and outstanding food! We had a party of 3 for dinner to celebrate my daughter’s birthday. We ordered several rolls to share for variety. Absolutely every item was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend trying them for some of the truly best sushi ever! Specifically, we recommend tsunami roll, scallop bomb, tampa roll, cali roll, and dragon roll. These were the items we ordered. But, I would venture to guess that any other item would be equally tasty.

My husband and I got 3 handmade rolls to share. We also tried the 2 temaki. Then had 4 tuna sushi. It was exceptionally good. Probably the best sushi I have ever had. I especially liked the scallop bomb roll which was topped with the juiciest tasting seafood. It’s a small place and first come, first served, but it wasn’t busy Wednesday at 7:45, so we sat down at the bar. Lovely service as well. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Excellent menu. Great for a quick sushi stop. Seaweed salad is a bit too sweet and drenched in sauce but Sushi quality is outstanding.

My new favorite sushi spot in Tampa. I’ve ordered here three times in the last month and they are consistently delicious. The fish is super fresh and rolls are excellent. Our favorites are the tsunami roll, samurai roll, dragon roll, and nigiri trio.
