My visit here was a few months ago. I stopped in after 12 hours of driving on a cross country trip. The food that I ordered was really good which was the burger that I posted below. There was just one really interesting part of my dining experience that keeps coming up in conversation. I noticed that I was asked to pay upfront while I noticed the other patrons around me were not asked that same request. I obliged and paid and the server was polite during my meal. However to this day, it is still in my mind as to why I was asked to pay up front and no one else was.

They had a fried green tomato caprese as a special today and it was PHENOMENAL. LOOK AT IT. It isn’t easy to find decent vegetarian food here in town and Ruby’s killed it with this one.

My husband and myself came in today and were greeted by Maverick! He is absolutely adorable and if you visit I hope you also get the pleasure of interacting with him!! He will tell you the Mac-n-cheese is the best and he is not wrong!!! The food, service and all around everything is AMAZING here!! Thank you for such another amazing experience!!

Cute little spot, I was hoping for a better experience. They had a private party in there so I wasn’t expecting food quickly, but I sat there for over an hour after ordering. They have you prepay, so I was stuck. Was handed one soft drink and never got a refill. Unfortunate experience save your time if you don’t have hours to spend here.

We recently lost the matriarch of our family and needed a halfway point to meet, talk and eat. It’s been an emotional time for us so instead of a review I wanted to take a moment to thank you. Each of us ordered something different and we spent the meal saying “you’ve got to try this, it’s amazing”. Our table quickly turned into a buffet. It was comfort food in a time of crises. The gentlemen there who were probably regulars took the time to visit with my grandchildren and they were actually smiling. The waitress, I’m so sorry I was too upset to remember your name, invited the kids to play pool, which allowed the adults to cover more serious topics of conversation. And no one there knew what we were going through which lets me know your kindness, efficiency, and generosity is real and consistent to every customer. I also wanted to thank the waitress for bringing the orange card out to the parking lot. She was correct, it was important and she didn’t have to do that. It would have been easier to just toss it. I grew up in a small town and it’s nice to know places like this still exist. I had forgotten just how much I miss them. I may not remember your names but I will not forget your kindness, and again thanks to each of you.

My family of 6, (including picky teens) went here for the first time on fathers day 2023. We all LOVED everything about the food service and atmosphere. The best was probably the chicken strips. (And the ranch) Perfectly cooked and so fresh. You can tell the difference between frozen and mass produced chicken meals and this place. This place is an hour and 15 minutes from home and we’d all go back again, it is worth it.

Our food was good, the Oklahoma burger and onion rings were delicious. We had to wait fifty minutes for our food though and the waitresses /bar tenders would vanish for 30+ minutes at a time. We saw several customers come in and wait at the ordering spot but leave because no one came. We were going to leave after waiting forty min for food but we had paid when we ordered. They need to hire more people.

The staff is friendly but they were unable to make a specialty contail off their menu. After being told, “we can make anything. They didn’t have ingredients to make anything. The food took about an hour to come out when this place was pretty much empty. Only ordered 2 burgers, so it wasn’t like it was a complicated order.

Best fried chicken I’ve had. Mandy was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. She made great recommendations and keeps the place running smoothly. Highly recommend stopping in if you are driving through, cause if you live here, you probably already know.
