So I walked in after the gym and told the professionally dressed person behind the counter “I’m a virgin” and she snickered and guided me through the process. The food was awesome, truly sushi in a bowl. I’m not a huge rice fan but they had cauliflower rice which I had never tried before and I’ll never have normal rice again!

It was our first time eating there. The staff was helpful with explaining everything. Once we got our food, it was very good. The only complaint was the music is loud. If I have trouble placing my order, it’s too loud.

Great tasting build your own poke bowls. Worth the stop to try a tropical treat. This is a good representative of Hawaiian poke. They mix the flavors to let all the food get the flavors.

Poke is delicious, and The Poke Company makes good poke. I enjoyed my ahi tuna bowl, but the overall service and atmosphere isn’t great. There’s no bowl suggestions to help folks decide what they want, which sucks in helping newcomers or even establishing favorites for regular; it’s just a giant board of options staring you in the face and you aren’t sure what goes well together. The staff wasn’t helpful either; I asked “what do you recommend” and got the response “do you want a small or regular bowl of white rice or brown?” Very unhelpful. I also got a Thai tea boba, which was the correct color for Thai tea, but I’m not sure what flavor it actually was, cause it wasn’t Thai tea, and the boba were odd, small gooey things rather than proper boba. I’m not sure I can recommend this place.

Great service and delicious food. They have a very nice dining atmosphere. The staff were very friendly and answered all my food questions. Several different topping options. Be sure to check out my pictures for more details. They have a wide variety of beverages. The second floor overlooks downtown des moines. You can get your parking validated here. If you are military be sure to show that I’d for an extremely generous discount.

I just had the most incredible experience here! I was helped by Tori who truly went above and beyond to help me. If you follow me you know I am allergic to gluten, dairy, eggs & soy. She knew all the ingredients and even went in the back to get salmon that wasn’t marinated for me.

I ordered pickup through DoorDash but it’s cheaper to order through The Poke Company itself. Their poke burrito is the perfect portion and seriously so delicious; their fish is wonderfully fresh and all the toppings work really well together too. Overall, a really great spot to grab a cheap and unique bite with free parking.

Absolutely delicious. We hit this for our prerace meal. We had bowls with beef, tofu, salmon, and chicken. Each bowl had different sauces, toppings, and sides. They even have Boba and some fun craft sodas. We will be back!
